So Tranmere have won promotion to league one after back to back relegations which lead them to none league football but after appearing at Wembley the last three or so years they are back in the third tier of English football.Β

So could we use use them as inspiration or use them or there blue print in hopefully making our way back to the league football .?

Leyton Orient as well. Entered the National League with ownership issues. Got it sorted but only 8 days before pre-season was set to begin. Consolidated and went up the season afterwards.

Bristol Rovers getting back up at the first attempt and now they've had a few seasons in League One. I don't think we'll go back up first time but looking at the examples of Tranmere, Orient and Bristol Rovers, we will certainly come back a better club if we do go up.

@LozCloughSLOΒ made an interesting point on twitter, i dont think we should look at clubs who have come back or try to mimmick anyone. notts has to earn the right to gain promotion, they have to do it on their own terms.

this does not mean they cant look at tranmere, but lincoln is more impressive imo.

they have a proper chance of doing well again in league one and mansfield also learned the hard way. this does not mean i think notts should do what either of them did to gain promotion, mansfield wasted a lot of money signing every tom dick or harry.

Notts should master their own pathway out of the league, they need to adapt and work hard.

If the takeover can see the club unite, then that would bring some of the good feelings back. Really, I don't think the fans or club should look at what others have done, that worked for them and as we know it most likely wouldn'tΒ for Notts. Besides, there isn't a formula for success, it's individual for each club but there are steps and things you can do to add it. Manchester United, for example believe in winning and being successful, it's why some of their arm chair fans can't stand losing.

Notts should focus on becoming stable first and foremost above anything else.
