An Official statement from Notts concerning the recent reports that the advisor about the sale of Notts is living under a new name after he changed it due to being prosecuted.

Talks should cease immediately with the Alex May/Colin Dodd consortium. I don't know what part of convicted fraudster, the club doesn't understand

Very quick to release this one, however, I don't think the club should be engaging with criminals (even if they're being advised the people). It said in the NEP and others that Alex May is the leading it - I wouldn't class someone handling it as that.

End all negotiations with that group, anyone who can do those things is a disgrace and makes me fear the worst from the ones taking his advice/leadership, he doesn’t deserve a second chance and should have been jailed much longer .

To call his crimes a mistake is shocking and disgusting , it was a planned and prolonged campaign of fraud on the elderly.

Whatever has happened to Notts County the family club ? Just make a statement NOW and tell the fans of our great club that there is no way it will be sold to such people.

Dont hold your breath

No room to discuss with scammers, the club would be mad to engage with them.

end all talks with them, only a moron would want this to happen and only a fool would sell to crooks.

If there were more than one interested party, speak to the other now. Dont speak to criminal fraudsters, it will be another munto.

If Alan Hardy sold to them, god help him.

We'd be in more trouble and Ah would have no money as i bet he'd be scammed out of it.

Posted

If he deserved a second chance, why change his name? That just seems like a mask to me.

Posted

I hope Alan Hardy doesn’t sell it out of spite to them, if you involve a conman something is a mist. That’s not how you do business.

We were sceptical about the deal in the first place, proves this time we were right to be.

Posted

think the difference is we know that there is interesting, we do not know why there is such an hold up or why its so hush hush.

i get agreements have been signed but why did the sa consortium make a statement only to stall? i think the pritchard person is key to that deal happening.

Posted

Selling to this consortium could ruin the club and damage any image it hoped to have, all the history right now feels like its down the drain but there must be an investor out there who sees the club as an attractive challenge.

Posted

Considering the outrage and unknown group backed by a conman it’s alarming that the discussions have been halted.

Well we know the answer to all that now. I am glad the club didnt get sold to a fraud again.
