Ratings Notts v Bromley

Featured Replies

Posted

Based on a mean of 5.5

Slocombe 6.5 Nothing he could do with the goal conceded. Tries to dominate his area

Brindley 5 Closed down too much, when passed into cul de sacs. Defensively did his job

Rawlinson 7.5 Nominated for MotM at 1625h...before he actually scored.

Lacey 7 Looks like Dean Yates with confidence of taking the ball out. Good positioning to cope with aerial threats

McCrory 6 Not much in the forward sense, solid defence

Rose 5 Too static at times, lost the second ball battles

Doyle 5 Tried to create triangles but ineffective

Boldewijn 4 Was he marked out or just couldnt get into the game. At least can deliver a corner

Osborne 7 Only real creative spark , beautifully set up the first.. always looking to get a shot in

Wootton 6.5 Not much change from the Bromley defence but service from Notts midfield made life difficult

Thomas 6 Took the goal well , again lacking midfield service

I’m not sure I could change those ratings, Enzio looked clueless for a lot of the time. I do feel for him, but starting to wish we didn’t carry him.

Doyle maybe played a 6, only change so think is fair. He was the kingpin in midfield.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

Did anyone else attended the game? Curious to read what others thought.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

Enzio is so frustrating. He's so often a passenger, but because of his creativity we can't afford to leave him out either. Realistically, a player of his talent who delivered consistently wouldn't be playing in this league.

Thanks for the ratings, keep them coming! ????

Slocombe 7 Save of the season so far.

Brindley 5 Gives too many balls away.

Rawlinson 8 Defensive rock, brilliant pass for Thomas and a goal in the bargain.

Lacey 7 Cool and assured on the ball.

McCrory 6 Decent performance

Rose 4.5 Turned over too much and missed the pen.

Doyle 6

Boldewijn 2

Osborne 6.5 great ball for Thomas’ goal

Wootton 6 Not his usual self.

Thomas 6.5 Lovely goal but should have scored from the Rawlinson ball over the top.

Slocombe 7 two amazing saves made, overall commanded his area well.

Brindley 5 made ineffective due to who is in front of him.

Rawlinson 7 good performance, generally solid.

Lacey 8 the true man of the match for me, very calm and good on the ball.

McCrory 5 he looked inconsistent, gave the ball away and failed to read key moves which looked straight forward.

Rose 4 poor in truth, never looked like someone who could impress.

Doyle 6 he did well, got the ball forward and defended well. offered much more going forward.

Boldewijn 4 hes not the player notts signed, just a waste of a shirt at this stage.

Osborne 7 very good performance, battled and persisted with every part of the game he was involved with.

Wootton 6 held the ball up and worked hard.

Thomas 7 he linked the play up, came wide when it was needed and looked a threat on goal.

Slocombe 7 - Good all round performance.

Brindley 6 - He did okay, limited going forward but defended quite well.

Rawlinson 7.5 - Ignoring his goal, he commanded the back and played some good stuff going forward.

Lacey 8 - He doesn't seem to panic and how calm he is on the ball helps to reduce pressure.

McCrory 5 - Pretty poor at times and wasteful, I wasn't impressed. Just average to me!

Rose 5 - Average like McCrory, watching him defend gives me nightmares and his penalty was woeful.

Doyle 6 - He did well, nothing spectacular but good enough.

Boldewijn 4 - Awful, no creativity and just clueless most of the time.

Osborne 7.5 - Solid performance, I don't expect him to give outstanding play for 90 minutes but his fighting massively helps.

Wootton 6 - He had limited service I feel, not as much time on the ball but he looked good.

Thomas 6.5 - Worked hard, more involved in the game than others and scored from a nice move.

Slocombe 7 - He made some key saves, his presence is more than just his ability between the sticks.

Brindley 4 - I am not impressed, I agree Enzio limits his progression to go forward but overall he quite poor.

Rawlinson 8 - Key goal, take that away he defended well and joined the attacks.

Lacey 7.5 - I think he's massively underrated poorly based on the rarity of having a good CB who can play football. He did very well!

McCrory 5 - Bambi on ice, very unimpressed with him.

Rose 4 - Largely static and looked like someone with two right feet. His penalty miss seems only 10th of the issue with him right now.

Doyle 6 - Creative in the key stages, vocal and uplifting around the players.

Boldewijn 4 - How do you solve an out of form player like Enzio, he needs to be replaced. This isn't quality, it's amazingly limiting.

Osborne 7.5 - First half I thought he was the best player on the pitch, he dipped in the second half but boy did he want to take Bromley on.

Wootton 6 - Not a lot Kyle could do, yet he did his job. Won important balls in the air, linked play but just lacked getting that further extra bit from him.

Thomas 6 - The opposite to Wootton I feel, he looked a threat on goal and drifted back to support the midfield. Lacked a little up top, looked tired too.

His creativity is rarer than the peacock spider.

A player of his quality should be lighting up this league, proving that he was worth the £300,000 we paid Crawley for him. At the time, he's failed to prove to be a good enough League Two player, let alone National League.

I don't know how to solve his form, I just don't think he should be starting.
