Some interesting comments made at the time. Have people changed their minds in what has followed since?

2005 is the year I joined, I don't remember sharing my thoughts on Ricardo but I do think he had something special about him.

His issue was the fact he had to deal with Branston I think, and the people who always seemed trigger ready to sack managers. Maybe, a little of a lack of understanding the level of football we played, I mean Notts played well but we always defended like rabbits caught in the headlight.

Thing is he would have gone at some stage and I just don't he would have been the manager to return us to League One.

I do think he ended up being sacked early.

I also feel he could have given the next manager a club that could have moved forward but he didn't understand League Two football, defensively we didn't look good. Teams eventually sussed out but again, I did like him as the manager.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

the appointment of jf was annoying, from day one the club could not stop hyping him. it always seemed destined to fail with him being a rookie manager and no matter how long he had been training to do the job he clearly was not prepared. the notts board threw him under the bus tho in my opinion.

should have stuck with moniz.

I don't remember now what exactly happened to Ricardo Moniz, I think we had a string of poor results if I do recall somewhat right. I think the pressure grew, with all the stupid stuff ongoing behind the scenes.

His brand of football did have benefits, it was exciting to watch but we conceded as easily as we scored.

Still he should have been given longer, he could have turned things around and gave the club some stability.
