Any avid bakers/cooks?

Just wondering if we have any avid bakers or cooks, in the world of PON? Just a few questions.

What is you favourite thing to cook/bake? My favourite thing to cook/bake would be some sort of cake or cookie.

What's the most difficult thing you've cooked/baked? Cinnamon rolls. I've attempted to make some today, they look nice but don't think they have proved enough.

Why do you like cooking/baking? Just relaxing, it detracts me from the world and everything that is going off. I tend to do this why I am listening to music and on my own, so I can sing as much as I can.

If you have any photos of your creations feel free to put them in this topic.

This is the gaffers and @cheeky~k8's realm. I am not much of a baker, I don't really cook enough fresh food either.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

It is, definitely some competition ????. Only joking, they would both smash it in a competition.

I prefer baking desserts & cakes than actual cooking but i do both.

I think my favourites are lemon slices, rainbow cakes, kids birthday cakes or chocolate fudge brownies.

Not an avid baker, no. But, considering we go through probably a loaf per day of bread with us and the minded kids, I bought a bread maker this morning. Managed to get the last bread flour and yeast after trawling four supermarkets to get it. It’ll work out cheaper in the long run and to have a fresh loaf every day, baked in an hour and the smell of baked bread every day will be excellent. Also stops the ‘nipping to the shops’ which for the next month or more, can only be a good thing!

I’ll have a go tomorrow and report how the first ever loaf goes!

Already got raisins, etc.... in the cupboard so I can try a few other styles as well.

I like cooking, yet baking is where I feel more at home.

I've made various things from scratch, cheesecakes, cakes, tarts. I'll have to dig out some of my pictures, I also make homemade pizza which feeds my family for the price of one takeaway pizza. I've mastered the art of making them like pizza hut.
