    I have to hope Notts can get their first win against Newport, if they lose this could be one of the worst league starts for years.

    His first goal was a screamer, could have done with him having a go on target against Yeovil.

    I am frustrated by the way Notts gave the game away, 4 goals is a sorry state of affairs. I hope for better against Newport County.

    He sounds like a great asset and lad for the club, well done to him for scoring on his debut. That's a sign of class as far as I am concerned.

    They may field more reserves than normal and underestimate Notts. A good performance by Notts could lift the fans spirits.

    I'm wary myself if things don't go to plan, there has been a considerable amount of knee jerk reactions based on drawing the opening match. Notts should do better Saturday against Cambridge.

    It's still early days but 4 points from two games would make the start much better, Cambridge won't be any pushovers and playing at home might work in their favour.

    I wish you all the success for this season @Chris and keep up the brilliant job your doing. I am sure not enough fans acknowledge your dedication and effort, it really amazes me with how you cope and put so much into PON.

    I am hopeful this glowing praise will come true with Kane Hemmings proving himself to be a difficult player to mark.

    We will most likely lose to Wycombe, so I am not expecting to see a positive result here. It would not be a concern if this does happen, I can see us winning at least two of our last few games and mathematically I think we are much better off than Newport or Leyton. Lets hope at the very least we see another spirited performance by Notts but whatever happens, happens. I will go with a 3-1 lose, sorry!

    No gripes, he wasn't getting any game time here and its best for all involved. Good luck to him!

    We need to win at all cost so we can create a further gap between us and the bottom two, after Stevenage I have lost some of my confidence and if the players go into the game on Saturday feeling the same way. They will only invite pressure onto themselves, best we try to be cool and hopefully the result will come. At least I hope it will! 2-1 Notts my prediction.

    Good article Alex. It sounds like all the players failed to raise their game again against Stevenage, we must beat Hartlepool on Saturday.

    Very good read, it gives an exile a greater insight into last Saturday's game.

    would take the draw any day of the week, now lets get similar or better from Plymouth.

    Not bad from the highlights, though it does not give a full picture. I would be happy with the draw and what I have seen from this. Ameobi did well to win the challenge, its a shame Stead did not shoot himself rather than passing.

    I would accept a draw based on what I have read and the fact we had only 3 shots on target (I think). Its a shame one of them didn't go in but this is football, nobody has a right to win games and things are looking up. No need to regret or be disappointed. Joe's right about the players wanting to turn things around.
