  1. the thing which league teams need to understand that relegation could be like many before, a way to allow them to get the club focused on doing the right things. you dont end up in relegation fights without reason. only smaller clubs would be concerned that it might not see them turn out this way, i think the majority would become instant big clubs tho.
  2. @Robbie made me aware of it, and it was being sorted by @Chris as @Fan of Big Tone posted. say that in real life. both teams are in good form, neither have lost and that gives the game higher stakes. i am hoping it forces the game to be focused on attacking, openly and both teams giving it their all but i do think it might be a game where both cancel each other out. i really do feel this will end in a 2-2 draw, if not that it still a draw. its better than being defeated, so i would take the point. @menzinho has mentioned about how we have done against top teams and it will be a game which might start allowing more fans to believe we can get automatic promotion.
  3. very saddened by the news, its a shame. rest in peace
  4. why have we made him a director when he is the already the clubs ceo, what does this exactly mean with his job title? i am not that worried about us needing to find someone else to take on the recruitment, as they will probably be someone from with football radar.
  5. i dont really care about either, i think ronaldo challenged himself more whereas messi has taken an easier route but both are incredibly talented.
  6. did anyone else notice that morecambe at first allowed us to play? there was some challenges in the first 10, 15 minutes but it was only once notts started to really show their class that morecambe reverted to their aggressive and silly challenges. the referee should have warned and issued cards to them much sooner, and if he had it might have saved jodi jones from being taken off. it felt like a matter of time before we took the lead, i was pleased for charlie whitaker because he had good chances in both halfs before his goal. we played very well as a team, morecambe did make it hard but mostly because they were very dirty.
  7. i am pleased for charlie whitaker, i thought he played very well.
  8. but he jumped on the rumours of signing macaulay langstaff on loan and that seems to never have been the case. https://uk.linkedin.com/in/richard-montague-25931812 richard montaque does come from football radar. why would he jump ship to go work with luke williams, when williams has publicly said that he does not go near the swansea dressing room and has been negative of the squad that he has there. it was not that long again he was linked to west brom, so we need to stay in the real world.
  9. i think more league two teams will be the stumbling point and i can see them being listened to more due to their professional standings in football, but i think 3 is fair. it makes sense.
  10. welcome to the pride of nottingham, @andrew lord. i hope you find the site fun and become a regular contributor to pon.
  11. Burton Albion 1-1 Blackpool Huddersfield Town 0-2 Reading joker Barrow 0-1 Gillingham Fleetwood Town 2-1 Cheltenham Town Salford City 0-0 Tranmere Rovers Aldershot 0-1 AFC Fylde Dagenham & Redbridge 3-1 Yeovil Town Solihull Moors 0-1 Oldham Athletic
  12. i dont know if its me but today feels very cold, even this morning i felt like i had woken up on one of the coldest days of the year. im trying to keep warm, so for dinner i went to look around nearby shops and decided to eat out instead having my packed launch. i will have it once home, where i can keep nice and warm. @super_ram @Robbie sorry to read about the noise problems, i live next door two elderly couples and they are great. i dont like loud noises so i can understand the annoyance when it happens very often and without warning. i personally think excessive noise should be treated more severely by noise polluion.
  13. before i started going to away games but i know notts fans tend to make a lot of noise even when we are being out played or losing. i do remember the home game and that they had sanches the hot portuguese player who looked pretty average.
  14. i only know him as a former welsh international and he played for man utd, except he was a manager after but his success is before my time mostly. i dont know if hes a good or bad manager but going from the premier league to league two would suggest his career is on the decline. good luck to him at carlisle.
  15. yeah, but its still odd how little he has been involved. i hope woking are playing most of his wages, such a shame we did not given him a second chance. recruitment is better, but i feel sorry for players like junior morias.
  16. i stayed behind work doing overtime to help out some late deliveries so that the morning shift would not be a mess, i took a college home too as i did not think it was fair they got made to stay on too. which meant they missed their bus and with it being one of those longer to wait ones, i offered to give them a lift home. im back now, still feeling a lot better. i decided to treat myself to chips from my fav chippy too. @Fan of Big Tone your issue is you go on holiday more than you have your jogs on a weekend. get back to jogging.
  17. i am glad notts did not get into the habit some national league clubs do, with paying more and restructuring deals in the efl or losing the players completely. i do think over the years things are improving and its good to see us being able to give some players a chance at league football but also look for quality and players who are established at this level. i think when we were last in league one we rushed to sign the wrong players and tended to think of ways that never really would work. we have not seen this under the reedtz, the wages and fees are spent mostly wisely and even in the national league we signed some excellent players above that standard. jodi jones, john bostock etc.
  18. panic signing and had no chance of getting more games, though the game he did play was not a comfortable game.
  19. its the outside part of it that looks wrong, there seems to be glass and a regular structure, with the outer part looking like a shell. it does look ugly. i think it looks like something you would find in holland. like a water treatment centre.
  20. i blinked and missed the first goal, but replaying it it seems the opposition defender got a touch. the second goal was a cross to the far post, no way did he mean to score that.
  21. i wish him all the best with his return to health, i really hope he can and without any form of disability.
  22. i thought that about carlisle but gillingham have been very poor, least not that bad.
  23. provided nottingham panthers finishes above sheffield steelers i think it will be a good thing. i am not all that into hockey but appreciate the level of skill you have to have.
  24. boring day at work but i think some of @Robbie sun has finally reached me. it was a bit nicer today at first, least before it started to rain. not much to say but i am feeling much better. i hope every other member reading this is avoiding bugs and having fun!
  25. i really hope he wins it, hes been in fantastic form this season and deserves to win it at least once. i am not sure many have performed as good as him, though i do think we tend to be overlooked since macca left.
