Match Discussion: Game 35 - The Cardinals (H)
notts have only played woking once to my research and that was in the fa cup back in 2004, a little before i started following notts. if we can use the recent form, and shake things up with wes thomas being suspended we should do okay. its all about the service and feeding the strikers, kyle wootton always seems to do better after scoring too. hope we can be creative and have some entertainment during the match, yet the biggest thing is to win and if this means playing ugly so be it.

Match Discussion: FA Trophy - The Glovers (A)
its the fa trophy, i am not as bothered but beating yeovil would be a good thing. i just more focus on the league myself.

Match Discussion: Game 33 - The Spireites (H)
second half notts really looked like a team with confidence. it shows we can attack the family stand, so that is another curse lifted. not just the tv drought. all the goals were quality and it goes to show that we dont need to walk the ball into the net.

Match Discussion: Game 33 - The Spireites (H)
its forecast to have heavy winds tomorrow, so please make sure you all wrap up warmly. provided it does not rain that will be a good thing. i am hoping ardley will get kean to go in goal, i have lost confidence in ross again. hes not vocal enough and i think we will continue to lose if he plays.

Match Discussion: Game 33 - The Spireites (H)
i think it could end up as a goalless drawn, would love to see a good home win but i think in games like this we buckle to the pressure.
-
Match Discussion: Game 32 - Daggers (A)
so far, it sounds like a nothing in it type of game. kristian dennis sounds like hes doing well, a couple of chances for him but the daggers have had their own. rawlinson could have let us down, but we just need to work harder on creating good chances. fitzsimons has just made a good save.

Alexlevy0908: Best and worst Notts County away days this season
???? all these comments. i dont make many away days, i find travelling to be stressful but i have attended chesterfield when notts played in league one. i would like to do others, i just decide against it. reading something like this @Alexlevy0908 makes me wish i felt up to it.

Notts Player in Focus: Michael Doyle
hes come back stronger, i do feel hes earned his redemption. some fans love to complain about him but hes anchored the squad and has done well.

Match Discussion: Game 31 - The Whites (H)
poor, just poor. notts looked like a side wanting to put too much effort to get the ball forward, but zero quality to get the ball into the back of the net. its one of those performances you have to draw a line under and accept.

Match Discussion: Game 31 - The Whites (H)
think we need to forget about yesterday, focus on making sure we are ready to kick on again. i was unsure if the game would have benefits, but i do think it will allow neal ardley to focus more on dover. i think they will want to cause trouble from the off, not physically but by attacking us.

How have the new Notts County owners done since taking over?
i think given the chance ray trew and alan hardy would have done differently during their reigns, i would like to think so. the reedtz brothers seem to be bowing to the experience that is at the club and allowing them to get on with it, its pleasing to see trust given to them because they can be a massive help. think ah thought he could do it all alone and once that went wrong, he could not accept it. but we have two owners who are hands on, its good to see them attending home and away games. they seem to want to get the community back involved which would be nice. quiet owners are like good match officials, you should not notice them and if you do its not usually for the better.

Match Discussion: Game 24 - The Coasters (A)
its looking doubtful due to the down pouring of rain. i do think the game could hinder notts if it dont proceed, with the weekends fixture at meadow lane. continuing the form would be very important. i know people will say, that the players can train more but winning games builds confidence. playing frequently can have a big effect on the team. we did better in december due to how often the games came, it brought the players together.

Match Discussion: FA Trophy - Daggers (H)
i am less bothered about this, i would prefer to focus on the league but it does present ardley with the chance to throw in some of the fringe players to see if they can come in to give rest to some of the heavily featured players. form is massive, so i would not want notts to not care but from my own thoughts the game does not matter.

Under the floodlights at Meadow Lane is the perfect way to start 2020 at home.
i think alex lacey gives us someone who can not only pass the ball well, but also calm down the play. i like ben turner but he and connell rawlinson are prone to clearing it without thinking about where the ball goes. winning bromley felt like we robbed them at the time, i do think the 3 points are deserved now. great blog mate.

Match Discussion: Game 30 - The Ravens (H)
decent first half, poor second. the players did well to win, it feels a little undeserved but who cares? good win.

2020: Art will be one of my focuses within the New Year.
i am pleased granny got to spend some quality time with the family, it sounds like its going to prove to be a good present too. if it helps, makes things easier and you enjoy digital art. it will only be a good thing, you need to have hobbys and time to yourself. let us see some of your doodles when you feel comfortable.

Match Discussion: Game 30 - The Ravens (H)
i am looking forward to getting back to meadow lane. i think notts will do better in 2020, at the moment there is a lot to be optimistic about and i think this will only rub off onto the players if we can keep it up.
-
Match Discussion: Game 29 - The Magpies (A)
looks like a goalless draw but i will take that. from the radio coverage both teams had chances, just no clinical finishing. a draw is not a bad start to 2020.
-
Match Discussion: Game 29 - The Magpies (A)
the form is much better, suddenly a lot of experts are on social media proclaiming how good ardley is. ???? imagine if some said this when more seemed vocal about wanting him out. i think it will end up as a draw myself. if notts won another game it would be unbelievable.
-
Match Discussion: Game 28 - The Moors (A)
i dont want to get carried away, i will take tomorrow first. i think the game should be lively, its a great response by notts fans who deserve to see some good football.
-
Match Discussion: Game 26 - The Shaymen (A)
the second half sounded better on the radio, i think with some of the players it is all down to confidence because once this has been lifted we seem to thrive. i am pleased for mitch rose and ross fitzsimons, im sure nobody wants them to fail but seeing them step up and earn positive feedback it must be good.
-
Match Discussion: Game 27 - The Magpies (H)
im hoping that ardley gives osborne the start ahead of shields. i think lacey needs to remain in the squad, with rose playing further up the pitch. i can see the game being a 1-1 draw, but i will take it.

Notts County, Neal Ardley and squad rotation
a few changes is common sense, i feel like ardley is sticking with the team just for the sake of it and in the hopes that they can drag themselves out of the poor form. he has mentioned watching players off the ball, which makes it baffling when he continues to start some. he will have his own reasons but i do think osborne and lacey need to come in to the squad, with turner being injured i would expect this. rawlinson is very inconsistent too, he will play well one game and then look like a different player altogether.
