Before the start of the season, this would have been seen as a battle between promotion favourites. If you said Notts would be 22nd and Luton 17th at this stage, the fans would have laughed at you, but that is the reality of it.

Luton won their first league game last weekend. They are still in the JPT and only lost on penalties to Stoke in the LC so they have shown glimpses of how good they can be.

Their main threat is Craig Mackail Smith but they have quality throughout their side. Danny Green in Midfield is a real threat. Liam Noble is back and it couldn't come at a better time.

This has the makings of an absolute cracker. Goals galore I feel, but I think Luton are in a better place than us right now. I'll go for 3-2 to Luton. Izzy with both goals for us.

I won't be going this saturday, but i do hope we can play better more consistently soon or we'll have another escape by the end of the season.

I can't get to this one either as I will be away, I fancy we will draw this.

Both teams are pretty inconsistent and have a high level of expectations.

I think it will be scrappy and I don't see us winning that fight on the field, however much I hope for a win. If we start well, win the ball etc - who knows? We may do well but I'm not counting my chickens. It will be good to be back though!

Hopefully we see some good football, it's time for McLeod to score!

I'm not getting onto him, yet a goal would relieve some of the pressure but as I say, I am not convinced he will be a 20+ scorer but as I've said to many others - I think he will help us get goals from all departments and thats good enough. COYP!!

Both my teams return to league action today after the international break.I hope  both my teams have used the break to iron out our respective on field problems.I'm feeling positive at the moment.Hope the feeling is justified.

I'm not impressed by Luton, not quite the football team I expected but this also applys to the officials. At least we are winning but we need to cut the cards down, I'd be suprised not see changes made because of this.

Incredible game. Noble redeemed himself in spectacular fashion. Izzy off the mark. The defence is still terrible. Going to be an exciting season!

Great game! Thank god we didn't lose. Finally showed some character and grabbed the 3 points. As a notts fan you know things ain't safe even 2-0 up and cruising it. Brilliant win though.

The best game I have seen down the Lane for many a year, we had about 5 Luton fans sat in front of us in the Pavis and even though when we were 2 up and dominating I said to one of them you aren't out of this yet, not sure he believed me, but was great to see both teams going for the 3 points. :)

To be fair i thought the defence were solid, we started to showboat at 2-0 and it allowed Luton back into the game, Great goal from Noble who should have come on when we were 2 up, still best game at the Lane for a long te. Coyp

Massive result for us today. Hopefully we will kick on from this and really knuckle down to get a run going now. Exciting day all round me thinks!

cracking game but for me I think we could have had 5 or 6 the first goal for me should never of been disallowed I sit near the front of kop and I saw nothing wrong the red actually gave the goal to I was impressed with McLeod again he has pace awareness of where to be who took the Luton defence apart when he is fit he looks like the type of striker that can win a game on his own but saying that snijders looks dangerous Pacey Burke was great to every one played there part a lot better then recent games

Exciting entertaining game, a good win against a good team. Three goals in two home games from McLeod!
Another step forward. COYP.

I was just about level with it in the Pavis @[member="Notts26"] and was amazed he put his flag up, never offside, also McCleod should never have been booked, it wasn't a dive, there perhaps wasn't enough contact for a peno or perhaps there was but never a dive, I think Snijders got away with one though and he had already been booked.

McLeod turned him inside ready to shoot an there bloke cuthbert I believe clipped him as he was bout to curl it clear foul an snijders there was a push that reff was useless as for me if the reff gives the first disallowed goal he can overule the linesman

I think am gonna put my money on McLeod being top scorer 3 in two now if he was playing against Accrington he would easily be on 6 but I can see him bangin a hat trick in at Wimbledon I actually can't stop smiling every time he gets the ball you just feel like he's going to score he's so dangerous this could be the difference that fires us up the league
