Where are they now : Tyrell Waite

I would hope he settles down now. He has the ability to be a good finisher for most Non-League teams.

If they play him as a striker, he should do well for Ilkeston Town, which is where we signed him from. It's a bit of a homecoming for him, with him being from Derby and having started his career with them. I last kept tabs on him when he played overseas in Sweden.

I hope Tyrell Waite does well; he is their version of our David McGoldrick. Waite has been pushed out wide quite a lot in his career, which is why he hasn’t scored that many goals. If Ilkeston Town plays him as a striker and allows him to settle, he should score plenty for them!

He is one of the few young players who had the opportunity to succeed, but I believe he was not prepared for League One football. It would have been better for him to be loaned out to a National League team, then to League Two before being introduced into our team. It is hard to believe that he is only 29 years old. I wish him the best of luck.

Good luck to Tyrell Waite; it should be a great signing for Ilkeston Town. I hope he has a successful season and continues to develop by returning there. If I were in his position at this stage, I would remain with them and strive to become a club legend.
