After which we can discuss how the results are going for those in question, as the race for survival will slowly and surely start very soon (if it hasn't already). Please do join in, this will be good fun with quite few partakers.

Premiership:
18th. Norwich

19th. Fulham

20th. Cardiff

Three poor sides, none of which are particularly good defensively, and none of which score any goals. They might all pick up the occasional good result but I just can't see any of them having enough in the tank to stay up.

Championship:

22nd.. Charlton

23rd.. Barnsley

24th. Yeovil

The current bottom 3. January has passed and still there hasn't been an upturn in fortunes for any of them. Barnsley have changed their manager with little effect. Yeovil continue to fight bravely but they're just not in a position financially to bring in championship players, and Charlton really are in poor form. I cant see any of them having it in them to climb out of the bottom 3, and I could see them all being finished before the final day.

League One:
21st. Tranmere

22nd. Crewe

23rd. Shrewsbury

24th. Stevenage

Hopefully...

Stevenage & Shrewsbury are poor, and I'd just be stunned if they got out of it. Crewe are in good form right now but their defence is the worst in the division, and they still need wins to climb away. Tranmere's home form is shocking, and in general they just don't win enough games.
I think Sheffield United and Bristol City SHOULD have good enough squads to get out of their current predicaments, and they can probably us the loan market effectively. I think we've certainly got enough about us to win enough games to stay up, and our fixture list is on the whole pretty favourable.

League 2:

23rd. Northampton Town

24th. Wycombe Wanderers

Torquay have picked up under their new manager despite Tuesday night's defeat, and I think they might just scrape survival at the expense of Wycombe - a side badly struggling for goals and points. The majority of fans want a change of manager but they're not in much of a position to bring in a top manager, or bring in players.
Northampton I think have left themselves with too much to do. Chris Wilder will need to work a miracle to keep them up I think, they have one of the worst goal scoring records in the league and the loss of Akinfenwa means their style of play is far less effective.

Bury's home form is good - unbeaten in 7, and providing they keep that up they should be ok. Pompey are wildly inconsistent but they'll probably have enough in the tank to stay up. Just...

And Accrington Stanley... well it's Accrington Stanley isn't it? No matter how poor they are, somehow they usually manage to stay up. And to be fair James Beattie has done a brilliant job there despite something like 1 point from their first 1-0 games. They're winning the big games, and picking up good points elsehwere. They'll be fine

You're asking a lot here aren't you? @weymouthPIE.None of us are that good at predicting if the prediction league is anything to go by. :rolleyes:

Premiership;

18. Norwich
19. Sunderland
20. Cardiff

(I fear for Norwich, aside which has played good football is starting to become predictable and somewhat boring. I think they will fall into the relegation zone soon, from there on I think Sunderland and Cardiff are doomed.)

Championship;

22. Doncaster
23. Barnsley
24. Yeovil

(If Doncaster stay up I would be surprised, Bransley just seem to be a poor team right now and little old Yeovil. I feel sorry for them but they should've stuck with Paddy Madden, they've done a QPR and tried to adjust far too quickly)

League 1;

21. Tranmere
22. Crewe
23. Shrewsbury
24. Stevenage

(Tranmere are very lucky at times, they're a side I do not rate. Crewe seem to be struggling, I really think they have it hard. Shrewsbury (sorry Will) have been dodging relegation a number of years and started off brightly, yet they've burnt out now. Stevenage have no chance, they kick all the League 1 teams all over but they will still go down)

League 2;

23. Bury
24. Northampton

Bury are poor, Northampton need a miracle to remain in the Football League.

It's just a bit of fun, join in but feel free to discuss this as it progresses if you don't predict the fallen sides. :)

Wolves 2-0 Notts County FT

We've moved closer to same amount of games as some sides, now 1 game a way compared to teams like Crewe,Shrewsbury, Tranmere and Oldham. My net's cast as high as 15th which is where the Latics find themselves 34 points with a game in hand. If they win and we lose our net will become smaller. Bristol City are still firmly in the relegation mix and Stevenage seem firmly rooted to the bottom. Thanks @BradtheMiller!

Our defeat to Wolves isn't quite as concerning as some have made it out to be elsewhere, our game on Saturday is one we must make sure we play well in and win.

Didn't you know Crewe and Shrewsbury have merged to avoid relegation? 23 teams are now in League 1.

You're right in as much as our main problem is inconsistency but I have faith that SD and GA can sort that out but we are running out of time.

As others have said inconsistency is the killer. Hopefully the bouncing ball routine will help on Saturday because we are due an up!!!
