So who's your Notts Man of the match against Bromley today?

Give your short list then your winner.

In my opinion my shortlist would be,

Platt. A towering figure in defence once again.

Jatta. Came on in the second half & changed the game. Dangerous up front but helped out in defence when Notts were under pressure in the 2nd half.

Jones. Dangerous in the first half, won the penalty & made the game safe with the late goal.

Abbott, not as influential as against Accrington, but still a solid performance.

My Man of the Match goes to Jatta for changing the game.

Just demonstates how good our squad is this season.

Jodi Jones played out of his skin, earning my vote. Without his drive to get Notts back into the game, Notts might have continued to struggle. The squad did excellently once they got to grips with the game, but Jodi shined throughout.

I would have pitchforks coming for me if I asked this on social media, with people asking why Dan Crowley wasn't listed amongst the runners. :rollonfloorlaughing:

I know, with what I said before about David McGoldrick tending to be voted because he scored two and that this might seem exactly the same when I say I would name Jodi Jones. It has nothing to do with his contract renewal, or the fact that he scored twice. It's purely down to his performance, and how he got us back into the game whilst we were still adapting to playing Bromley.

He put on an excellent performance, alongside Dan Crowley in the attacking department.

The reason I chose Jatta is because he was a game changer. He came on & Notts scored 3 goals.

His presence created space which resulted in opportunities for the rest of the players like Jodi & Dan to exploit that extra space and time to create even more opportunities.

Jodi Jones pulled all the strings and helped to restore us back into the game. His play, along with Dan Crowley, was pivotal in doing that. Jatta scored a great goal, but for performances from start to finish, it has to be Jones.

I would choose Dan Crowley because he was key to the game and assisted 2 of the 4 goals. But if I had to pick someone not on the list, I'd say Jatta because his goal was pure class!

Jodi Jones was instrumental to the win. Without him fighting to pull us back, the other players around him might have dropped their heads.

Six voted for Jodi

One voted for Jatta

One voted for Crowley.

So Jodi Jones is well in the lead with PON members so far.

Jodi Jones, not because of the goal or contract renewal, but 100% based on his performance. If you haven’t watched the full game, go visit the club website.

Jodi Jones gets my vote because he was all over Bromley. He played exceptionally well and, after the two early goals conceded, he lifted his own performance to help turn things around for Notts. He helped others play to their best, but he was already in the zone before most.

That's eight votes for Jodi now. I will close the poll on Friday 6 pm & announce the result afterwards on Friday evening. Looks like Jodi is the PON favourite for MOTM against Bromley but we'll see.
