Pavis, KOP or Family Stand: Where do you sit when attending games?

This hasn't been asked for a while, and with plenty of new members, it's worth asking again. If you are unable to attend, don't feel left out. Tell us where you used to sit and how you stay in the loop with Notts games live?

I watch games in the upper KOP, central to the goal, and I think it's the perfect view for me.

I have tried sitting in other areas, and if I watch games with @liampie, @CliftonMagpie or @Joshua I do sometimes have to rethink where to watch due to not sitting in someone else's seat. I am a Kopite through and through.

What about you?

Seeing as you asked where I have sat to watch Notts, I've sat in the main stand, the meadow lane end, the county road side, the pavis, the Jimmy Sirrel and the kop. I've stood in front of the main stand, the meadow lane end, county road and kop

Think that's it 😁

I have sat in the Kop many times, but now I sit in the Pavis Stand, to the right of the Kop. My seat is about halfway between the dugout and the end.

I like the side view of the pitch because it lets me see everything that is happening.

i started watching notts occasionally in the family stand, at first getting the free tickets from school. i was not interested in sports but i like it from the first time i watched. i think we were playing bury. i just felt like it was a club that looked after their fans and the fans looked after each other. in my mid teens i started going to watch games in the kop. my dad as mentioned is a forest fan by heart but has been watching notts for 6 years now with my uncle both as season ticket holders.

the family stand was nice, but i like the atmosphere and friendliness of the kop.

I sit in the KOP; I don't plan on moving, but with it becoming busier, I am seeing fans I speak to regularly making a transition into the family stand.

I've sat in every stand over the years. My grandfather, Ray, would take me to games when I was younger.

Mostly those days were in the Pavis Stand, and being a kid, I always wanted to sit high up. After he died, I didn't attend for a while, but when I went back, it was again in the Pavis. I never really liked it; nobody really spoke, and I would sing, and my children would join in with the chants. We moved to the KOP and haven't looked back. I spent a few months in the Family Stand when I dislocated my knee, which I enjoyed, and managed to get other fans to join in making an atmosphere, but I was keen to get back to the KOP.

I used to attend on a regular basis between 1967 & 1988 & stand in the county road stand.

Since 1988 I worked at the weekend as part of my working week so my attendance at games were very limited to holidays or rest days.

Since retirement I haven't been able to go to games but hope to at some point in the future.

Since the new ground was constructed I've sat in the Pavis in different areas depending on availability.

The lower Cop to the Family Stand for me....it was far to lively for me.....a sign of the times maybe.....but most games nowadays the Family Stand is just as lively......Well done to the Brothers....10000 gates are the norm nowadays....long may it continue....

In the 80s I stood on the wooden terrace at back of County Road, then after the ground was rebuilt, sat in Block Z. Then in the Kop when we got it back. Don't make it as often now but when I go I sit in the main stand, towards the Kop end. Looking back it's great that we have the Kop. Not sure who deserves the credit - was it the Trust?

I mean the credit for the Kop being for home fans, not for building the stand.

I am also a Kopite and have been since I first started going. At the beginning, I would go with family, but now I go by myself as some of my relatives have moved away from Nottingham. My grandfather, who started all of this, sadly passed away last season. Only one uncle still goes, but he sits in the Pavis.

I take it you live in Sheffield based on your username. What year did you move there, if you don’t mind my asking? I live in Manchester, so I travel a lot through Sheffield and other places such as Leeds.

I have satin both the Family Stand and the Kop on occcasions in the past. Nowadays that myself and my youngest daughter have seasons tickets and go to the home games together, we sit in the Pavis nearthe half way line but just a little towards the kop end. We talk to the people around us and is interesting to sit near to the away team dug out to see and hear what's going on

I have sat in both the KOP and the Derek Pavis stands in recent years. Last season, I was in the Pavis, but this time, I’ve moved back to the KOP. I enjoy watching a match from the front, side-on view, but for this campaign, I want to be where the atmosphere is. Hopefully, by the end of the season, we’ll be celebrating promotion.
