Notts County vs Crawley Town

I genuinely do not know what to expect from Crawley, the players they have are unpredictable at times but they're a good side with this league.

McLeod can't be written off, he's a striker who can cause trouble and gain that "bit" of luck which poachers seem to have the habit of finding.

If Crawley win, they move up to same amount points on their tally as we do, of course if we draw we move to 18pts and they move to 15pts. However, if we win we move up to 20pts and that might be good enough (depending on results) to get inside the play-offs. Now, I am not getting carried away! It's just a thought, we are only 3 places away from 6th so it's hardly unrealistic.

Now if this was to happen, my Forest supporting @jsrjay will be required to go to see Lynn and Pete at the club in order to purchase a lovely home shirt and away shirt from our club shop.

I expect the game to be lively, I am a little nervous that the break might see the progress we made prior a little shaky. I can't call the game in terms of predictions, I feel we could win being at home but even my heart and head says this will be a 2-2 draw. I suppose I'll have to go with the draw....

What about you? Predictions? Thoughts?

I'm a Little Concerned for the Long break. Hopefully that doesn't mess up our Minds lol

However i'm looking forward to seeing/hearing about tis new Lad, Seems Promising.

I think we'll match them in terms of Posseion and of course, with a winning felling, I do think we will Win again.

Can you imagine what the Feeling would be like after 12 Games in the Playoffs WOW.

Notts 2 - 1 Crawley (Yes Carroll, is Human)

This will be my first game for some time due to holidays and other commitments, the latter part of our unbeaten run has been whilst I have been absent so true to form I am expecting it to come to an end.

0-1

Proud to be a Notts County Supporter for over 60 years.

Creepy Crawley........

Everything points to a home win. Crawley have lost 3 of 5 away from home. They have conceded 18 goals and have a -9 GD. They have conceded 4 twice this season in the league.

We don't concede and that will be the difference.

1-0 to Notts. Cassidy.

Ordinarily, I think the break would be a quite a problem, but I also think the straight talking of Shaun and Greg will bring the internationals back to Nottingham with a bump.

I just cannot see prima donna being an expression to describe any of the squad put together. Also the spirit and fight now within the club, will see the "one for all" mentality pull us through.

2-1 Notts, but hanging on for long periods.

Well. Our players that haven't been on international duty will certainly be fresh and ready to go. Carroll will be full of confidence having got another couple of wins with Northern Ireland. I'm going for a 2-0 home win.

Some facts for you ahead of the Crawley game at Meadow Lane.

The last 20 Notts County home matches have produced an average of 2.80 goals per game compared to Crawley's 2.15 goals per game.

In our last 20 games positioned against sides who have been within the bottom half of the table, we have scored 1.8 goals per game and conceded 0.8 goals per game on average.

Whereas with Crawley it's 1.1 goals per game and conceded 1.3 goals per game on average.

All good runs come to an end  but I see no reason for Notts run to end this weekend . 3 - 0 Notts .If I'm wrong blame @tonyhateley.

Runs are desirable to be broken, this will be something fresh in the minds of Crawleys camp. I do not see Notts winning by a high margin, chances will come but their keeper usually does well and for that reason I think him and Carroll will keep this one close.

The points will be ours but only one goal, I will say Noble for the scorer.

Does anyone think Leacock will be booed if he plays? I hate when that happens.

i suspect he will but i dont like it, someone will bound to start it.

Still the joint second best defence in the league, Southampton only conceded 5, but... you have to have confidence that if we get the first goal, then we are going to be bloody hard to beat nowadays

And now having had a look at the fixtures, three points I think will see us remain just outside the play offs in 8th.

All the best for today's game from a buzzing Millers fan.....lol. You know we beat dirty Leeds last night yknow!!!!!

You're still going down this year mate, wait. No, I think you'll be fine! ;)

It's match day, bring it on. I'll be on my own today, not looking forward to that aspect but hey, I'll be happy if we win.

We've started well, I hope my prediction goes out the window. If we keep as we are then another will come, we just nearly did score.
