What a lovely Christmas present for your parents @GrannyPie, I was born at the City Hospital too a year later, I wonder if it was the same room? :)

@notts-joe / @Cobby before I disclose how old do you think I am?

I'm going to risk it

Only because looking back at your post you used the word "lothario" (I had to Google it). I don't think a teenager would know a word like that, right? Or is it just me?

Born in 1983, so 31 years of age. 34 years until retirement, 36 years until I am 67..  I was there every morning in the 6 weeks holidays watching 'Saved by the bell' when TV was good.

Saved by the bell?? we had classics..  The Lone Ranger, Champion the wonder horse, Test Match cricket on BBC, Swap shop, Tiswas, and WHY.

You might of. But those classics would of been before the 90's, which was when I became close friends with my TV.

I forgot about muffin the mule, which is actually a childrens program, and not something you would see on the shelves of some seedy shop in Amsterdam.

Also though how on earth did we get away with half of the characters we had back then... Maybe a topic for another thread
