Yeah, I read it and thought he's done a good move here.

I'd never have guessed he would become a teacher, though credit to him because he can teach kids a lot of things and really to anyone he is a person who's made something of himself and youngsters should respect that.

Honest.

Not many footballers are that, good for him. I hope he's found a career where he can move on.

Having moved out of the profession, good on him. Like others have said, honesty is the best policy. He took that and left the contract rather than collecting the wage. If he enjoys it and I hope he does, then fair play to him.

I did the reverse. Got fed up being a teacher not being able to teach due to the paperwork that the profession has become drowned in. Rather than plod on I made the jump. Best decision of my life. Hope BB feels the same. Coming into the profession now anyone wouldn't know any different so good luck to him.

its not what i would have expected, i thought he would end up doing something within football. i am sure hes got qualities to do well at whatever he does, so being a teacher at least passes something onto the people he teaches.

My sentiments exactly, a successful academy is deemed one on the basis that it produces ONE player every five years give or take, with this in mind hopefully he can pass on his experience in the best possible way.

Always felt he did his best for us but its one of those situations where the body just could not do what he wanted.

I never liked the flack he got or the joking comments about his apperance, it makes me feel awkward when I hear or see people far worse doing that. There is this chubby family who always took the pi$$ out of him for slightly being rotund.
