As a Notts county fan I'm getting used to things not quiet be right for us but this season i have a funny feeling we will go up.

After last season great escape and an entire team over haul i can see we are slowly turning in to a team that could cause some other teams a upset. Just think the legendary pies in the championship facing Derby if they don't go up the team from the other side of the trent forest maybe even the foxes and every Notts county goal keeper kasper.

There's no reason as to why we can't, the same could be said for many teams in this league. However MK Dons will always bottle it, they won't gain promotion this year and they will fade as to be expected.

Notts need to maintain the support, if we grind some results and bounce back which I think we will do.

Then we will be in the mix, yet I will accept where ever we will finish. I am right behind the squad and our management duo, as I am with who ever is in charge and I just hope we can continue to have a good season first and foremost.

As Joe said.

Any side in or around the play offs could gain promotion, good runs are everything in this league and usually the difference. I see no reason why not but we need to be strong. Forget blips and disappointments, just move forward the best we can.

We certainly CAN go up this season but the real question is WILL we? I'd love to think we will but in spite of our fantastic start I don't think we are quite good enough this season. Especially as i think the money we have to spend in the January window will be affected by our failure to progress in the cup. We will do well and finish in the top half but we might have to wait until next season for promotion.

Barring a complete meltdown Notts should finish in the top half  of  the table and higher is a definite possibility. What if Notts do gain promotion? With all due respect Notts playing staff would need improving considerably just to remain in the Championship.SD and GA  know this and will be making plans for whatever happens this season.

i think its all about playing our cards right and preparing for each game, if we can just maintain our results. i see no reason why not!

NOTTS ARE GOING UP! ;)

If we remain around the top come december, the answer will start to sway to possibly.

You never know about if we are good enough.

I think we might be if we can maintain a run, drawing against the top teams will highlight how good we are. At least for me

It probably wont happen but why not dream? We may see that the team work and optimism is enough to see us do it? I think surviving last year was harder to be honest.

Promotion is possible with a squad like ours.

Still one of the best defences in the league!

"Can Notts County get promoted this season?!" - "Yes."

Although, we still have 30 leagues games to play, which is just under 2/3 of the season. As it is, we are currently in a play-off position, so of course we 'can' win promotion. Ask me this question when we have reached the 50pt mark after 23 games.

Yes we can ! I'm a optimistic sod :) . I say yes every season lol. But this season doesn't feel like any other "Good Start" seasons.

This is one, I feel we can maintain our composure and be in the mix come march time.

I want to come over for the Wembley Game in May :)

As tonyhately says there is a difference between can and will. I also think that there a few fans looking too far ahead in the regards of investment for next seaso should promotion happen. If opportunity presents itself the take it. Yeovil made it to the championship, but couldn't realistically compete at that level. I think everyone connected with the club was realistic enough to realise that and survival would have been seen as successful. If Notts get promoted and it's still an if, then the championship will be a tough challenge no doubt. I would rather we focus on the now and worry about the championship as and when we get there.

We're doing well, say no more. Let's keep our feet on the ground here. In my opinion we're punching above our weight at the minute, not that I'm complaining!

One game at a time please. The longer we're in the top 6 or thereabouts the more promotion becomes a reality.

Agreed. We are punching above our weight and the wheel most get literally fall off at any time. With a couple of quality additions at Xmas who knows?

For now let's be grateful were not relegation fodder.

Need to sort out home from again now and do the basics well. Keep clean sheets, Mark tight, pass on the floor and create chances which will in itself lead to goals.

The bookmakers have us finishing the campaign in 7th. Now that is bloomin marvellous, what an achievement it would be. But my word wouldn't it be a kick in the proverbials.

I would like them to be wrong by a place or two :)

I think it could be possible, but i think we'd be better off staying in league one to get the team more structured and ready for the championship as currently i think we would go back down to league one.

Be nice if we could, but realistically speaking we need a good injection of cash from somewhere to sustain a Championship side.

RT has said that the model would be better in the championship, more local sides,  our neighbours to play (unless they get relegated, because my Mrs will mek good Yorkshires before they get promoted).

So I think it could be sustained.
