Okay folks, please read my article - Here

Once you've read my thoughts, feel free to fill in this yourself. I'd like you all to have a go - I can see how my thoughts compare to others then.

Kwame Thomas:

Good move?

Does he offer us anything differently?

Alefe Santos

Good move?

Does he offer us anything differently?

William Hayhurst

Good move?

Does he offer us anything differently?

Billy Daniels

Good move?

Does he offer us anything differently?

Hayden White

Good move?

Does he offer us anything differently?

Balint Bajner

Good move?

Does he offer us anything differently?

Go folks, have a go. I realize for some it will be hard - especially for those who haven't been able to see the games or are based overseas but your opinions are still valid.

Kwame Thomas - only saw him against crewe and i was not that impressed tbh. he did try and there was a lack of balls to him.

Good move? unsure just yet

Does he offer us anything differently? i would not say so really

Alefe Santos - same as thomas, he did not do enough against crewe and he was wasteful against peterborough.

Good move? i dont think so

Does he offer us anything differently? not really

William Hayhurst - looked good against crewe, he was not really in the game that much against peterborough but he looked decent. involve him more and i am sure he will pay off.

Good move? yes

Does he offer us anything differently? young winger who can cross, i would say yes.

Billy Daniels - awesome goal to beat crewe but looked quite poor against peterborough, he needs more time for sure.

Good move? hopefully

Does he offer us anything differently? i am unsure about that.

Hayden White - useless, awful. i could have played better, he was not even in the game against peterborough.

Good move? noooooooooo

Does he offer us anything differently? someone who makes us look like we play 10 men, yes. apart from that no

Balint Bajner - he looked eager to score and useful, i wished he shot earlier at points but when he did they was on target

Good move? fingers crossed

Does he offer us anything differently? i think so, he looks to have an eye for the target which could equal goals.

Give all the players a bit more time before coming to a conclusion after all there has been a bit of chopping and changing.A run of games with a more settled side will give a better indication of each players merit.

That's to be granted, it's not to execute anyone. It's give thoughts on them and then we can access them in a little while. With the January transfer window closing soon, it gives us the opportunity to reflect on the transfers.

Having not seen them live I'll reserve my comments for a while. But with what I have seen/heard/read I think #noparty and Hayhurst will be good for us, jury's out on the others.

Still expecting at least one more signing, back four or CDM.

IN DERRY WE TRUST and he has my support. COYP!

Regards Allen. You Pies!

C'mon folks, time is calling for you to put this in so we can discuss it further at a later date.

I don't believe whatever any puts will be taken wrongly because we are just fans, plus players do improve but I am very keen to see what others have to say and I am a little disappointed more haven't already. I realize some might be waiting to see if players like White/Santos improve but that's taking the easy option! ;)

Too early to tell on most of these. Especially the youth 1 month loan signings - not much point IMO

Well there's the point, some will be near to renewal - It's easy to assess the players even after 2-3 games but some have been here long enough to warrant it. I might update the article after the weekend if I see the new lad play.

Still worth discussing in my opinion.

SD and GA see how all the players perform during training. If they've seen enough surely it's down to them to get the most out of the players and to transfer their training ability to the league.

Kwame Thomas - Good debut, he got lost at Doncaster and did not show enough.

Good move? No, I dont think it is.

Does he offer us anything differently? Yes but only as a rotating squad player and that isn't good enough.

Alefe Santos - Very disappointed in him, he has the skill but not the ability, at least not at this stage.

Good move? No

Does he offer us anything differently? Yes but likewise, not enough currently.

William Hayhurst - He looks a decent player, useful to have around. I can see better players in the future easily replacing him.

Good move? Currently yes.

Does he offer us anything differently? Absolutely compared to what we have.

Billy Daniels - I need to see more of him, I am sure Derry thinks the same.

Good move? I am unsure.

Does he offer us anything differently? I am not certain currently either way.

Hayden White - He needs more time playing at reserve level, from what I have seen he isn't good enough.

Good move? No!

Does he offer us anything differently? No.

Balint Bajner - Will he cope with the pressure? At face value he looks a good player, within the games he seems unfit and requiring match sharpness but he does look good.

Good move? Hopefully, this one is a future decision.

Does he offer us anything differently? Yes, a lot of potential. He offers a lot with his height and ability, I just hope he can score!

I want to wait until I have seen them live with my own eyes before I pass my judgement on anybody

I think I would need a few more matches to give them a chance to bed in. Don't think White or Santos will do anything, but we'll see.

Posted

Santos I think could settle if he gets a bit of confidence and breeze under his sail, that would make a world of a difference.

White is a disaster waiting to happen!

I've been Busy with my new Girlfriend ;-) (No not in that way   ) But i'm slowly converting her to Become a Notts Fan. Currently she's a Villa Fan ha ha ha ha. (Score in a Brothel, is my lastest song to her :-) )

But i'd like to listen in More to get a better understanding of the players. I hope all the players make a difference. However looking at the Scores on the BBC over the last couple of weeks hasn't Spurred any Excitement yet.

Time to gel??? We'll see

Thomas, Santos and White typical youngsters attempting to make the grade.

One looks better because they put 100% in, another struggles to contribute and the other does not turn up (only his body does). His bloody ability must be left wherever he lives.

Hayhurst and Bajner look good.

Daniels looks to be another epic flop, who had one burst of promise and nothing else.

As mentioned it's early days and I hope they can all prove their worth.

I would have just left it at being busy with the new girlfriend. The way were playing at the moment, something to take the mind of it is definitely in order!

And here was little old me packaging up my bicycle puncture repair kit and going to send it air mail to Canada for him.

It's a bit difficult for me to say as I haven't seen them play and won't until April, so all my information is second hand really.

Bajner and Hayhurst sound promising. I'm sure Bajner has something about him, he was clearly well thought-of as a youngster. Hayhurst put in more good crosses in the highlights of the Crewe match than some Notts wingers made in their entire careers. It's also way too soon to write off Daniels, he took his goal well against Crewe and has probably had little service since.

Thomas, Santos and White are complete stabs in the dark. We often make the mistake of expecting such young players to be the finished article when they come from outside, but in reality they will be very raw, inexperienced and inconsistent, although we might uncover the occasional gem.

I'm a bit concerned by the size of the squad now - we have a large number of bit-part players, loans and short-term signings, and not all of them will be playing. It's actually a bit reminiscent of the Ince reign where hardly a week would go by without a new teenage loan signing being announced. Instead of shuffling the pack to keep everyone happy, the manager needs to find his best team and stick to it.

I haven't seen enough games yet but I'll give it a go.

Kwame Thomas:

Good move? Yes very hard working

Does he offer us anything differently? He does if you compare him to Cassidy!!

Alefe Santos

Good move? No

Does he offer us anything differently? No

William Hayhurst

Good move? Yes

Does he offer us anything differently? Good crosser of the ball

Billy Daniels

Good move? Yes

Does he offer us anything differently? Potentially when he's settled at the club.

Hayden White

Good move? No

Does he offer us anything differently? No

Balint Bajner

Good move? Yes

Does he offer us anything differently? Height up front. Will come good once the team starts to gel.

I'm obviously on the naughty step in the naughty corner. I can quote using a phone but not a computer. This is not good for my brain.
