Hi all and welcome to the sixth episode of Pride of Nottingham’s PONcast.

In today’s instalment we begin by discussing Notts County’s second new signing of the close season – Derby County youngster Rhys Sharpe. We also touch on the changes behind the scenes, including the creation of several new positions and the promotion of key Notts staff to these roles.

The PONcast then goes on to discuss the international exploits of goalkeeper Roy Carroll, former loanee Jack Grealish's FA Cup final appearance and Ashleigh Plumptre's call-up to the England Under-17 squad.

Finally we interview SuperRam, a key member of the PON community, and find out his Magpie memories.

A field where dreams become reality.

Great listening to this, our two presenters seem to be getting more professional every time and sounding less nervous, keep up the good work guys. Also liked @super_ram's interview, it was good to hear his views and despite the copious amounts of ale he had drank that night he did well to sound quite intelligent. :joker:

Only joking @Super-Ram, you know I love ya!

Just think that could have been you @tonyhateley!

I think I would have been all tongue tied @hissingdwarf, I reckon you'd do a good job though.

You did well in the 'Meet the Fans' feature, I thought you can across well (even when sounding all Minecraft like).

Cheers guys!

It was a privilege and pleasure to be invited to PoN Palace to be interviewed.I wonder how long the editing took? It was quite easy to do, @tonyhateley even when @notts_joe was signalling for me to speed up.No alcohol(or fee) involved.

PoN Palace? You mean the pub! Even though to be fair it may have been recorded elsewhere as when @notts-joe said record it here in the pub, I did think it might have a bit of background noise in it!

About an hour, I had to do adjustments to your interview because @Joe Jones didn't hold the microphone close enough during the original interview, then cutting the none sense out and general tidying up.

It usually takes 20-30 minutes, which is actually good.

i listened earlier but forgot to head here and comment, so here i am. i like the way you talk about the topics, its original, direct and to the point. you also both sound very good on the audio which is more than can be said for some. good show, packed with interesting aspects. :D

Great PONcast! Get this out to all exiles and you will be in business. Have you tried the mailinglist? Perhaps you could get it shared there.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
