Miserable day over here. Damp and warm. Mornings are getting darker. I understand completely how weather can contribute to depression in people.

Good morning everyone. How are we today? Not too down after last night I hope? Remember it's only football and we are Notts fans so we should be used to it by now.

Today is a lot better weather here in Tyne and Wear where we are camping, yesterday was only fit for ducks.

Hoping to go for a bike ride along the coast today and have a BBQ later if the weather holds. I'm also looking forward to partaking of an alcoholic beverage as we have abstained for two days because we have been drinking too much lately.

Right I'm off to get the bikes sorted, thanks to all the folk who have been joining in these threads, let's keep them going, let us know what you are up to today and remember there's more to life than football!

We posted at the same time @Dripsey3 hopefully I have successfully merged the threads.

I think you are right about weather affecting people's mood, I feel so much better when the sun is shining.

Another day of endless sunshine. I'm sick of wearing shorts and exposing my knees to the world, when will it ever end?

Sunshine is exactly what we need over here at the moment. Today might be a little better hopefully.

I'm preparing for my holiday, packing shortly, well @cheeky~k8 is.

I can't wait to be there, fresh air and the children having fun. I'll still be coming on here and I plan to release Vblogs on FB. We'll see how that goes!

A lot better day for our tour of the north, we were going for a bike ride but Mrs H's bike has developed a puncture so we had to abandon that plan and go for a walk instead, it was a lovely walk down the coast and then we came back to the campsite for a BBQ, it started to rain......typical but out came the brolly and this was the result, two perfectly cooked steaks.

Even though I say it myself I do a really good BBQ, those steaks were done to perfection, it's all a case of controlling the heat, the number of times I see bbq's on campsites with flames shooting up 3 foot high and burgers and sausages getting cremated, that's not the way to do it. I prefer the bbq's with a lid when it starts flaming put the lid on and the flames are starved of oxygen and die plus you get more smoke round the food giving it that lovely smokey taste.
