Dennis bid rejected.

Seems both Notts and Port Vale had put bids in for K Dennis and both have been knocked back.

Good return last season of 21 considering he was in a relegated team.

Should we go back in with a proper bid rather than the alleged “fiver and free membership to the Nottinghamshire Golf Club” that Big Al led with this time? Maybe throw in a bunker polo shirt to ‘swing’ the deal?

This is a normal approach. Just because they say the price is 100k, doesn't mean that is what they're willing to accept.

Test the waters first with a lower offer, then gradually increase.

Otherwise you could end up paying 100k for something you could have got for 60.

Port Vale diverted attention now to Ricky Miller, price then drops to 50k:rolleyes:

We'll get there, at least we are looking to sign a proven goalscorer but we must be confident in replicating any players form here.

Build a strong squad and, we can push on.

A field where dreams become reality.

Does anyone else feel that we are making ourselves seem desperate? I'm not surprised that a club who have a player on the market is rejecting bids from a club that says they'll sign a player at any cost.
