Looking at the responses from Chester fans, we've got ourselves a good young player

Solid signing. Not sure we needed another central midfielder though!!! I do hope KN isn't going to try and put round pegs in square holes. Previous managers have tried it and failed!

 

We did need another CM. Liam Noble is non-existent all the time

The problem is we have to play him and spending money on a midfielder where competition is already packed seems a little wasteful for me. I hope the deal prove to be worthwhile, we almost lost money with Noble.

Signing Tom Crawford alongside the signing of Noor Husin in January must mean we're going for a very different approach playing wise this year.

 

Tom Crawford seems a great buy if he can step up successfully to L2, there's no issue from me. I think the lad will do well!

Sounds like a good prospect to me, and just the kind of player I want to see us signing - young, hungry, on the way up. That's how successful clubs operate. And if it's a sign that we're going to play more football on the floor next season, all the better. Just give the lad time, he's young and learning.

Now he just needs to get a haircut.

Not t saying I’m not happy with the signing. In fact, the opposite as I do,think as others have indicated, we’re looking to youth and pace which can only lead to fast, free flowing football.

My concern is Liam Noble if I’m honest. Only a couple of flashes since his return. The rest have been hoof and panic appearances. 

The other concern is KN tampering with the formation again. I think last time he did that he may have cost us promotion. The dip in form had two pointers. One Ryan Yates leaving and the other KN trying to overthink things.

Not saying it won’t work with a preseason, but it worries me!

Looking forward to see Whst youth can do and think if given the chance he may be ok.. only time will tell 

Hopefully he will feature, if he can get into the team it will say a lot about him and will speak volumes in terms of the signing if we are rewarded with goals. I'm quietly pleased with the signing.

I can only go on the comments above but from what he said via Notts, he does seem a decent young player who may one day attract interest from those above us. It would be good to see this competitive midfield do the works for us, creating those much needed goals.

plenty of good things seem to be said about this lad so i hope he can contribute to the upcoming season.

its good to have young players who are looking to establish themselves and take their career further. it beats having deadwood or players who are passed it looking for a final pay day.
