So with the recruitment drive at medow Lane in full affect and going really well. So if Alan Hardy and Kevin Nolan came to you and said you can bring back any player from Notts County’s past team who would it be. Which player from County’s past any era who would you bring back on a one year deal.?

Realistically I think Alan Judge.

His injury needs to see him playing regularly and he would be a good signing for League Two, if we managed to sell the vision and direction that the club is heading I think he would love to play at Meadow Lane again. He was a great fan favourite, someone who's goals lifted games and just very hard working all round. I think he would add a lot of creativity to the current squad too, so he would be mine.

Brentford however may not want him to leave, so a loan may be more realistic.

I think he's made better progress than what was expected of him, so I just hope he can pick up his career where he left off but it would be nice to see him return.

i would say will hoskins if he had one more run in him as a professional player, it seemed only a few years ago he was ripping it up in the championship.

There would be quite a few I would like to see just to gauge for myself how good they were in their prime like, Hateley, Ironmonger, Masson, Richards, Chiedozie, etc etc but for me it would be a simple choice of Hughie Gallacher or Lee Hughes and tbh I think I'd go for the former only because I saw with my own eyes just how good Lee Hughes was but a couple of people I know who have forgotten more about the game than most will ever collectively know, said that he was the best striker the game has produced on these shores and quite possibly one of the games greatest on any shores

I would bring back Matt Richie and Gary Liddle.

They are the types of players that Notts miss right now, proper footballers.

Jack Grealish would be my choice, seeing his runs used to have me on the edge of my seat and League One couldn't handle him.

Any of the best players from the 80's, most of which has been named by @Northants Pie.

If it had to be a player that I think we would need next season I would bring back Mike Edwards, we have sorely missed his quiet dependability, just got on with the game, very rarely beat in the air on or the floor, I reckon that if it wasn't for his injuries he would have left us and gone to back play higher up the league

Can we just bring back all of these players in their prime and see how awesome this Notts squad would be?
