I just watched this and I know its a message aimed to get us all excited but don't they understand we are onside with the club?

If the players make effort, if the club does, the fans will get behind them.

Am I missing the point?

Of course we expect the club to do well.

I am sure Kevin Nolan knows we are right behind the club, no need to try to encourage us. Get the squad playing how they should and they win over the crowd.

Not exactly a Churchillian speech is it? :D

If we get the results and fulfil our potential, the rest will take care of itself.

I think he should have avoided mentioning needing the support personally, but not because I feel it's negative - I just feel right now fans will give it. Some naturally won't, they'll complain but the majority will guide and encourage. No issue here for me.

Thank god its transcribed beneath, I never realised how strong his Liverpool accent was.

I think the club just want to keep fans on side but the way Kevin Nolan speaks its like he thinks if the club loses tomorrow, that pitchforks would be straight out because he praised the support and dedication from last season. Probably a case of "what do I say", instead of anything else.

it gets on my nerves a bit tbh.

alan hardy appeals to the fans, then kevin nolan rambles on about how we backed the team last season but due to expecting more this season he wants us to do it again? let the team do their job and if we start well it will follow. half of these back notts county seems pointless to me, i dont a plea from hardy would make people buy a season ticket or attend a game if they have not for awhile.

I don't think Nolan gives very good interviews at times but there's not much wrong here, he could have just left it at asking for fans to join them on the journey this season but he didn't.

Moderately annoying but then again he has a point, where was the backing today for 90 minutes?

It’s just the normal run of the mill video I think he didn’t mean anything by it. I’m assuming he had notes from the media team or something

It’s a managerial cliche that’s all, no harm.
