im taking the news as things come.

i dont find managerial hunts to be all that exciting as notts tend to be linked with people who dont have solid cv's or anything like that, there always tends to be the underlining concern that the manager could be someone ushered in like we may see with chettle.

If there is any black or grey smoke from Meadow Lane than I will worry.

I can't spend the day pressing F5 for news on board members leaving or which inexperienced manager may take on the job as manager. It's getting depressing.

So recent tweet from Big Al alludes to still negotiating and will be Thursday afternoon at the earliest.

So that could well point to Harry Kewell as the man.

Problem is what about the loan signings?????

Oh dear. Can't see this Saturday being much fun as the new guy will be on the phone all day Friday trying to get players and the team will be set up by Chettle.

 

Either that or we will get Chettle for a few months whilst Alan takes stock.

This would say to me that the clubs seeing rejections or being set back by ongoing discussions.

I'm sure personally, the latest I have been told is that Harry Kewell has been granted permission to speak to Notts but Crawley are remaining firm on the amount of money they seek to grant their manager the permission required to depart.

Honestly, now I've accepted it, I'm fine with it. After watching the KN interview and the AH interview earlier in the week, I've come down firmly in the AH camp so if he thinks that HK is the way forward then fair play to him.

We've been wanting classy, attacking football for a while at Notts and I'm not sure KN was the man to do it. He will always big a big sam apprentice imo.

HK has demonstrated he can produce good football and get points on the board (although I'd have preferred a bigger win ratio) so it's down to him.

Really chuffed with Milsom coming back. This again points to the differences between AH and KN.
