So that's it I’m done with Hardy .. yet again opens his mouth without thinking saying he would never have brought County if he could turn back time .. I’m sorry this is not done it’s not appropriate  especially right where we are in the **** .. I’m no longer backing hardy. D03822E8-909D-4499-87AA-1FC319DB1457.pngn

Right behind you on this ... I find this guy annoying, selfish, obnoxious and rude. He only replies to controversy on twitter or people who bow down to his knees. I would have no issue with him if he focused on the club and solely on it but he goes on about all this crap about Nottingham is a great city, us and Forest have a brilliant relationship and community. Wakey Wakey Alan we've been rivals for years. His social media antics drive me up the wall. His money pot will run out after this season anyway. He can't afford to run the club any longer than 2 years as there just not enough money down the lower leagues.

Also it is so cringe the stuff he does like 'Half Time with George' me and my Dad laugh every time he comes out as we just think it's absolutely ridiculous. Makes our club look like a laughing stock. Can't wait for Mansfield and Lincoln to come and for them to see that shower of ***** for half time entertainment.

It makes me wonder why I spend so much, especially when the club is struggling and clear does not appreciate the fans.

Major PR mistakes this.

I agree the headline makes you dislike Hardy, I'm in the same boat. The decisions he's made he realises he's been wrong and can't be undone but he's realising now that it's not all happiness like it was at the start of last season. But at same time I can slightly understand why he feels that way as he can't get the enjoyment side from watching a game, although having said that it's what he signed up for. Let's just see how much backing he gives now.

why does alan hardy come out with so many silly things, hes a businessman and a owner of companies. he should know that this is the last thing you can say publicly never mind in a press conference.

disappointed in him tbh, i felt he got a lot of unfair stick but any fallout from this he deserves (expect full on abuse).

When things become rosy he will enjoy it, though the headline is annoying because many fans have shown him loyalty and respect.

These types of things you shouldn't say publicly.

It won't be forgotten and the next time Notts achieves something and AH has forgotten about all this, people will remind him and I don't blame them. As a supporter I watch Notts win, draw and mostly lose but I don't regret supporting them. If there's one thing @Joe Jones would say now is that I never give up - I simply refuse.

@Chris as we've seen in the past though he's not comfortable in the media. He will face a backlash from this whatever happens. He just needs to distance himself a little more rather than make it about him

It’s an unfortunate choice of words which is immediately picked up on by the media and blazed into eye catching headline. I think he probably regrets an off the cuff remark now and I don’t take much notice of it to be honest.

Lets face it we’ve all said things we regret later but thankfully it doesn’t matter because there isn’t a journalist ready to scribble it down and tell the world.

And yet he will still act all pally with Leigh Curtis.

Alan has the habit of doing this to spoil his face though.

He's becoming a lot like previous chairman IMO.

That’s the truth fans will loose respect soon if they haven’t all ready

If he continues to invest and try to move the club forward, I could forgive his comment.

But he needs to avoid going all Ray Trew on the club and missing payments, I think the bonuses last season encouraged the players and he's put a stop to this due to the expenditure. He needs to find a balance.

It's just a silly comment that the Nottingham Post has decided to run with.

Engaging with some of the fans Notts has, I am surprised he hasn't said it sooner but lets just try to crack on together now.

As much I respect your view point I have to respectfully disagree .. It’s another time Hardy has opened opened his mouth with out thinking .. no one wants to hear the owner of there club saying that especially when we are going through the turmoil we are .. we need him to stand firm be proud of owning the club .. not slagging it off.

He will say it's been taken the wrong way or something like that, I like what he had been doing previously but on Twitter he gets on my nerves with how he approaches his fan interactions.

If your going to welcome questions, expect things you don't like.

If Notts aren't doing well, expect negative feedback and some to point the finger. It's not all abuse, so he should man up and deal with it. Nobody made him buy the club, I am sure some on Twitter wished he hadn't but he has the chance to do something useful. Moaning and being negative about his position doesn't help Notts.

I haven't read much of what hes said because the majority is on twitter, which i don't use but from what i have heard he does seem the wrong things quite alot which feeds the trolls. Also telling everyone your news is not the greatest idea, especially as the owner of a football club, someones always going to hold it against him.

All that said, he has made some bad decisions and also some good ones. Good ones at the start and bad ones more recently.

Posted

Why don't he just put the club up for sale then? job done.

Posted

Forgive and forget I say, yes it's a silly comment but he's made a commitment and if he finds his feet as the chairman again he will be the same person who seems fully devoted to changing the clubs fortunes.

We are all human, I would imagine you have said something you would have regretted and hoped people would forgive.

Nobodies perfect.
