Big companies half baking applications

I rely on technology to do my roles with PON and elsewhere, I have seen how much of a difference applications make - not just on Windows computers but on my mobile.

However, I am starting to get a little peeved with big companies half baking their products.

This can be extended to consoles too actually, so many games are released with major bugs in them and updates seem to take forever to resolve the issues.

It might seem harsh to get annoyed with FREE applications, yet for Microsoft to still have major issues in Windows 10 is a major joke. The calendar application for example, my productivity will now be more organised but there's so many bugs!

You pay for your computer, the people who build it - pay Microsoft for a licence so you would expect better.

I mean they are getting smarter, as previous versions of their OS have been quite dated and have suffered a lack of foresight. I just don't expect big companies like them to leave silly bugs in, if I find something on PON - I'm straight onto it. If I or any dev's I know can fix it, I ask - then I report the bug and in a few weeks they tend to be fixed.

Big companies seem to care far less about these things.

A field where dreams become reality.

The support of good companies should be rewarded with people buying their products, I think more buy on brand and reputation but Microsoft should know better.

Big companies have always cut corners somewhere, they become big because they are making profit aswell as making things look good. Sometimes the tech in items isnt what you'd expect for the price, especially nowadays when things are being made more technical so don't last as long either.

Big companies should know better but its the way things are going, you have to really vet what you buy these days. It's the same thing for electronics.

Every company will cut corners due to costs and bugs will be found in virtually anything, I just feel it's important for these businesses to fix their issues as promptly as possible. The sata nav I have in my truck relies heavily on constant updates, which I pay for and it's very good.

It's never let me down yet.

Some apps on my phone have the odd issue and it can get annoying.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
