Do you have a favourite Favourite Christmas song and film

Featured Replies

So it's December which means Christmas is just around the corner and for the month of December we can watch films and songs for Christmas or so we told.

Whats your Favourite Christmas song and film is my question.?

Saviour's Day by Cliff Richard.

I don't care much for the lyrics as I am not religious but its a great song, one which can remind you that there's many things to be thankful for. The backing track is one of the best for Christmas and it captures that early 90's feel perfectly.

John Lewis Stop the Calvery and the pogues and Kirsty McCall fairy tale of New York.

The poges is a fantastic song always loved this one has some memories for me. Stop the calvery started to like this in recent years.

The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole.

Another song that takes me back to my teens and puts me in a Christmasy mood. Great choice @NortonNCFC

I like the original band aid song, its much better than the ones after.

And Peter Kays attempt which is quite bad but good at the same time.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree by Mel and Kim.

Very amusing song.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.

My favourite song may be "we wish you a merry christmas" but i can't think of that many apart from a few so unless i do, i'l stick with that.

Film: A Christmas Story and only that. It's hilarious. Definitely a film for adults, the humour is lost on kids. One of the funniest films I know.

Song: Fairytale of New York and Stop the Cavalry are shining lights in an ocean of drivel. This is also quite cool:
