Saviour's Day by Cliff Richard.

I don't care much for the lyrics as I am not religious but its a great song, one which can remind you that there's many things to be thankful for. The backing track is one of the best for Christmas and it captures that early 90's feel perfectly.

John Lewie "Stop the Cavalry".

By far one of the best Christmas songs for thinking past the gifts and what not.

Santa claus the movie (1985) will always be my favourite christmas movie but i'm not sure on the song.

The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole.

Another song that takes me back to my teens and puts me in a Christmasy mood. Great choice @NortonNCFC

I like the original band aid song, its much better than the ones after.

And Peter Kays attempt which is quite bad but good at the same time.

This takes me back over 60 years to Christmas with all the family at my grandparents

I much prefer this version to the Boney m  one

My favourite song may be "we wish you a merry christmas" but i can't think of that many apart from a few so unless i do, i'l stick with that.

Film: A Christmas Story and only that. It's hilarious. Definitely a film for adults, the humour is lost on kids. One of the funniest films I know.

Song: Fairytale of New York and Stop the Cavalry are shining lights in an ocean of drivel. This is also quite cool:
