The PONcast Extra: Derby day as Notts County head to Mansfield Town is now live!

Join @Chris and @samwatto2008 for a new in-depth preview ahead of the clash at Field Mill.

Firstly, please do let the duo know your thoughts on this and if you would prefer to see the regular PONcast see a split with the preview side of the show becoming it's own thing.

In this week's preview we talk about Notts County's upcoming game away against Mansfield Town at Field Mill.

We also reflect on the opposition and how the Derby day might unfold.

in addition, how Notts should line themselves up and which players could stand out. We also speak about how the Mansfield game is Neal Ardleys first game in charge.

Break them up this preview is very good and will get better just like the PONcasts have over the months.

It's also good that the length is around 10 minutes.

Keep fans wanting to listen to more.

I think its a better idea to break them up and to release PONcast extras.

I have enjoyed this preview and hope for more.

this is excellent, maybe add some segments to showcase what the opposition has in their team.

such as highest goalscorers, a break down of fixtures and who's in form. if you can get an opposition fan on board that would also be excellent. i would listen for 20 minutes if these was added. good show @Chris and @samwatto2008.

I would think that these are the two starting x1's

Mansfield: Olejnik, White, Sweeney, Preston, Hamilton, Mellis, Bishop, Benning, Elsnik, Rose, Walker

Notts: Ross, Davies, Turley, Ward, Jones, Patching, Hewitt, Milsom, Thomas, Stead, Dennis

Walker and Mellis goalscorers in a 2-0 victory for them

It's a good idea to roll out previews, try to link the two together so that people get used to listening to both because you don't want people choosing between them.

The preview is excellent, nicely discussed and is smooth to listen too.

Brilliant idea!

Please try to find time to do these more detailed PONcast extra's, if you can get someone else involved I think it would be perfect.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
