The latest Pride of Nottingham PONcast is now live!

Join @ChrisΒ and @samwatto2008Β yet again as they recap the Tranmere game in episode 51!

In this week's episode the PON duo talk about Notts County's recent game against Tranmere Rovers at Meadow Lane. TheyΒ also discuss how the squads passion lifted after Saturday's game against TranmereΒ as captured by Dan Westwell.

They also talk about the upcoming games and how they will impact Notts County's form.

Also, sharing theirΒ thoughts on the stories about the EFL and English Leagues.

What do you think about the talking points mentioned in this PONcast?

Good discussions! I felt Ross could have done better with both goals at the game but in hindsight I can see his reactions are limited. I think the first goal he could have tried but the second there was no way he would have.

Merit to the Tranmere player for making the run and striking the ball well.

Yep, I listen week in and out to these PONcasts.

I think the discussions are interesting, I like hearing what @ChrisΒ has to say about the games. He seems to nail it exactly each week. I think @samwatto2008Β brings up some interesting points too. Just out of interest why do you both feel fans blame one player rather than the team? Dan Jones was okay, nobody supports him tho.

If Jones did not support Nathan Thomas people would still be calling him. I don't get it.

It doesn't suite their point or agenda Joshua.

I think it's easy to single a player out if they make an individual mistake. But for example with the first goal although Dan Jones was the man marking the player who scored the whole defence can arrange themselves in the best possible position to keep a goal out. I personally don't like our style of defending. We seem to track players and never actually get the final tackle in, we just wait and wait until the opposition are inside our box by which at that stage it's too late. DJ should have got the tackle in wayyyyyyy sooner than he did for the first goal.Β Β
