The gaffer gives a update on his future

Neil Ardley as said he “wants to be apart of this club “ as we head in to final game of the season.

Would you be happy for him to stay at meadow lane?

It would be nice to think he could be given more time, the club needs stability and he needs fresh faces. Players who will jump through hoops, fire and all sorts. Some of these that we have now aren't motivated like this enough.

think he needs to stay on, i just wonder what will happen if the worst does happen and some of the idiots out there target him.

we have some who can build a team, we just have to learn from this season.

He has faults, I can't say otherwise, but he's not the worst manager Notts has had.

His hands have been pretty tied, the thing that gets me the most is how he's too defensive and it's never in a good way. There's no attack, which is a massive issue in a relegation battle. I would also like to see signs of better in-game management, but this could come with time. He needs his own squad, I don't dislike him - I think his personality is okay. I just wished he would surround himself more with the youths and squad (a side from training).

Hes not the best manager but also by far not the worst. The squad needs to play better and its not all Ardleys fault. I would hope he could stay on and build his own team and have better control so they play to their strengths not weaknesses.

Nice he’s pledge his future to Notts county either way if we get relegated or stay up. Only time will tell if he will stay the new owners may not want him have to wait and see.

His future shouldn't be in question, fans and the club didn't give Kevin Nolan enough time. It's now the club needs to back their manager.

Give him time.

I don't really see this as an update on his future, he just said that he would like to remain as the manager. Pretty standard.

Give him time, constantly changing does nothing. I am still a bit peeved that Kewell wasn't given time. I still think it was a mistake to sack him

Id say thanks but if it doesn't improve quickly hes not worth the time, although now what so we really have to lose.

When the season starts we need goals. Playing defensively didnt work to plan as we conceded a huge amount of goals

It's such a bitter sorrow for Neal Ardley, a manager who seemed to have all the credentials to keep Notts up but ultimately failed to secure the clubs league status. The questions I find myself asking is how much of this is down to boardroom influences and interference?

I would give Ardley a shot at redemption, after all half the mess if not the majority wasn't even his fault.

Neal Ardley is a manager who could fix this if given a chance, Non League experience doesn't matter. I trust that he can offload the dead wood, it's been an issue for years and Kevin Nolan did a great job patching things up.

Allow Ardley to build us the team to push for a League One return.

Forget League Two, think long term! Give him time.

Neal Ardley must stay, the club needs steady hands and stability.

I am certain the new owners will have seen this.
