former Notts County goalkeeper Roy Carrol has not been offered a new deal at Linfield but has no plans to retire As the 41 year old continues his recovery from a serious knee injury.

If a contract could be offered and personal terms met would you be happy to have him back at meadow lane.

no, i think he left in a disgrace being mardy and not playing well on purpose.

He could do a job but it depends on his injury, I think they will give him a deal when recovered but he could be a decent signing.

No, I think he shot himself in the last time he was here. It seems pointless to sign a 41 year old who's past his best. I would rather stick to Ross Fitzsimons.

No, I think it would make more sense to bring back Scott Loach as a Nottingham lad.

He has the experience that I think we need next season but we need next seasons goalkeeper to ready for league two if we go up. He’s also recovering from his knee injury that has to be taken in to consideration ..

All due respect, he’s a tool and paranoid at that. The way he handled his final run of games at Notts, well  he was a joke. As a keeper I do rate him but he’s got so many problems.

Problems which Notts doesn’t need.
