Seems excessive to me. We have a lot of fullbacks.

We have 4 (+1) left backs:
- Barnett
- McCrory (injured)
- Miller
- Chicksen
- DKE

and 3 (+1 ) RBs:
- DKE
- Brindley (injured)
- Rawlinson
- Golden

another signal to Chicksen that he has no future here?

I would've thought we'd only move for another RB if D-KE got injured, maybe I'm naive but I can't see any reason why he wouldn't be able to play all the games until Brindley is fit again. Worst case scenario, Miller/Rawlinson could always fill in.

In terms of getting Golden (great name) I wonder if that means we've got a good deal here...Salford are team where money is pretty much meaningless to them.

I think so, with Barnett suspended at the weekend it was his chance to either get in or at least on the subs bench and he didn't.

I'm not sure how many signals he needs...

His signing seems a bit excessive now, but who knows? If he turns out to be a club legend, we could make a bronze bust of him.

Not the debut to remember for him, an own goal and then off injured before HT. Hopefully not to serious otherwise it'll be the shortest short term loan we've ever had!

@menzinho I almost asked what people thought of him, if he had made his debut.

Could the injury just be a case of injured pride? I did not manage to get to see the live stream, caught the end of radio broadcast.

"Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value."

I thought he looked promising until he went off, the own goal was just one of those cruel deflections.  It seems the news regarding his injury might not be good news, but I would like to see a bit more of him.

What right do you have to tell me I'm wrong?  You're not my Granddaughter.

It will take some players time to settle in, I don't blame him for the owl goal because its just one of those things which @Elite_pie has mentioned.  Has any information come out about his injury?

I am hoping its a knock.
