Italy have always been the masters of the ‘dark arts’ of football.

They played superbly and managed the game for the last 15 minutes with no issue. Worthy champions imo.

I saw Verratti drop on the ground because someone brushed his face. You would think he had been punched in the nose. Then there's the 5 rolls after someone has tackled you. That's all teams. It's embarrassing.

It's time players got fined after matches and punished for this type of behaviour, FIFA has said they want to cut it out but if it's not noticed then it goes unpunished 9/10 times.

The cameras wasn't rolling when he received the magic sponge treatment, or it was a miracle as mentioned.

You always get some of these antics, but once the Italians realised the referee could be conned they spent more time on the floor than standing up.

Still, they're the best team in the competition and a joy to watch, too.

These types of players are pathetic, just simulating injuries.
