  1. Hello, @McSwegansRightPeg. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham.
  2. Hello, @two for joy. The Pride of Nottingham.
  3. Hello, @Zski. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham.
  4. Hello, @BlackandWhitePie. Welcome to the Pride of Nottingham.
  5. I'm happythat Connell Rawlinson has decided to commit to the club for another two seasons. It's brilliant news for Luke Williams as it adds valuable depth to our roster. Not to mention, we've got the versatile Richard Brindley, who can cover in the centre-back department when needed. It looks like our squad is really taking shape as we move forward. Fingers crossed those other offers get signed swiftly so we can bolster the team with a few fresh faces. Exciting times ahead, indeed!
  6. This is fantastic news! I am absolutely thrilled. Kyle Cameron and Jim O'Brien are the next ones on my wish list, fingers crossed! Come on Notts, let's keep this momentum going!
  7. I appreciate the point made, and my faith in it would be stronger if both the manager and players were in full support of the message. It's hard to fault a club with such a driven owner.
  8. I understand that it may seem like some players aren't as dedicated, but I reckon they're just taking a break from football. It's normal for a few to wait for better deals, which can provide more comfort for their families. Adam Chicksen may have delayed his agreement, but his situation could be unlike the others. I'm quietly confident that most, if not all, will sign on again.
  9. Welcome to PON, @LesBradd4England. I like your username, Les deserved call ups to the national team for sure.
  10. Welcome to PON, @Magpie Bill.
  11. Sorry, I thought the message hadn't sent. Good to have you on board @HarryNCFC0.
  12. Hi there @HarryNCFC0, welcome to the Pride of Nottingham!
  13. German fans really know how to support each other, they're a great example of loyal supporters. It's really commendable how they take care of fans who are struggling with depression.
  14. He's got a style people know him for, and he looks good even though he's getting older. He seems like the kind of person who'd be happiest with a simple life.
  15. Did he spend much time at Notts? I believe I may have several ideas, but I would like to narrow it down.
  16. I am intrigued as to how Notts County will fare against their competitors in League Two. However, I am also becoming increasingly frustrated with the continuous strikes and relentless rise in expenses. One might wonder where these funds are supposed to originate. Perhaps I should consider going on strike myself to afford necessities? It seems to be a vicious cycle.
  17. I am confident that there are members whose posts I have read, but they have ceased sharing; however, I am unable to remember anyone specifically at the moment. I sincerely hope more individuals return and actively participate.
  18. As a lifelong resident of Nottingham, I don't have an exciting background story worth sharing. Despite this, I have contemplated leaving the city several times. My only reason for staying is Notts County - a club that I am passionate about. Frankly, I don't have much appreciation for the city itself.
  19. It would surprise me, but cricket is a sport that is viewed more casually. Perhaps Notts should consider adopting this strategy to reduce costs, though they would have to think about how to manage the associated cleaning expenses.
  20. It's not uncommon to hear people jokingly talk about The Nottingham Post being a lesser publication in recent years. If Ollie left because he chose to, then he might have recognised that there is tremendous pressure, but there are fewer rewards.
  21. I am hopeful that Ruben stays, as he is a vital player in our team, and it would be challenging to see him adapting to life quickly in another club. However, if he does decide to leave, I would prefer it to be for a team like Derby, where he could continue to flourish.
  22. This is a massive statement of intent from Notts County. Jodi Jones is a top talent who can take us to the next level. He’s got a lot of pace and skill and he can unlock any defence with his passes and dribbles. He was sensational during his loan spell and I’m ecstatic that he’s staying with us for longer. His ability to create chances and score goals will be invaluable to the team as we push for promotion. The club has shown great ambition in securing his signature and I can’t wait to see him in action again.
  23. I hadn't previously contemplated signings in depth, but I'll need to examine the retained lists of other clubs and revisit this topic. Notts County will undoubtedly be sifting through numerous players, selecting only those who align with their strategic plans.
  24. It's delightful to witness returning members dedicating their time and energy to contribute to the site once more.
  25. He has been known to take credit for accomplishments but behaves rudely when things don't go his way. In my opinion, he bears a significant responsibility for the downfall of Notts County, as he did not have the necessary level of skill and experience. This was apparent to anyone who observed his performance, regardless of whether we were playing against his team. Given his salary, it seems unjustifiable to continue employing him when a more competent goalkeeper could fill the position and contribute to the team's success.
