    He’s a crucial part of what makes Notts function so well. When he joined us, his presence made a noticeable difference and the way he simply plays his game is admirable. While the loss of Matt Palmer is the biggest setback this season for me, I’m relieved that Bostock’s injury sustained against Mansfield didn’t result in a lengthy absence.

    Solid defensive tactics combined with a booming forward line – the County really has it going this season. Wimbledon is going to find it hard to penetrate our defense. Let’s bag this one, lads. I have got my money on you, Notts!

    There are always a couple of fools who are willing to speak out, whether they’re Notts fans or not. It’s not acceptable, and I hope the police are treating it as a hate crime.

    It appears his shooting accuracy hasn’t gotten any better since he left us. He’s a promising talent, but he often missed his target.

    Notts scored some truly outstanding goals, while Bradford’s seemed somewhat fortuitous, though they certainly put in the effort to earn them. Do you mean their number 7, Jamie Walker @DangerousSausage? While it may not quite match the level of ‘Big Sam’, I found it to be quite stylish and traditional. It brought to mind the likes of Brian Kilcline and Dean Thomas.

    With AFC Wimbledon playing at home, they’ll be eager to reverse their current form. I’d suggest a particular strategy for this. Does anyone have an update on Adam Chicksen’s injury status? I heard he’s dealing with a minor issue. Personally, I’d prefer him over Will Randall, as I believe Chicksen would be superior both offensively and defensively. Slocombe Baldwin, Brindley, Cameron Nemane, Bostock, Randall Crowley McGoldrick Langstaff I’m eagerly anticipating @Ohh Tommy Johnson's insights on the team lineup, as well as @menzinho and @Fozzy’s analysis of the game and the opposition.

    Charlie McParland is known for his candidness, and it’s true that Luke Williams does possess a certain edge. I can also see where Charlie is coming from regarding Ian Burchnall; he did seem a bit self-absorbed. I wouldn’t go as far as to label him ego-driven, but it did appear to be more about him than the players.

    The fans forum was a pleasant surprise, offering fans a wealth of insight. Although I had initially planned to request an invitation, I ultimately decided against it. To be honest, I didn’t anticipate the event to be so well-organised. I had assumed it would be a more basic affair, primarily focused on the new CEO acclimatising to the club and soliciting ideas. However, it appears that everyone had done their homework. Impressive indeed.

    Dan Crowley has proven to be an essential addition to the team this season. From the very first match, he has not only met expectations but has continually evolved in his role. His performances on home turf never fail to leave a lasting impression. Crowley is the kind of player who can ignite a spark in the game, contribute significantly to the play, or even bring it to a triumphant conclusion. He is, without a doubt, an extraordinary player.

    I believe Jodi performed well with the limited time he had, contributing to an attack that nearly succeeded. I concur with the previous opinions too, he should have been in the starting lineup. It leads me to wonder if they were hoping England would fatigue, but I think England outperformed their performance on home ground. Jodi shouldn’t feel too disheartened, at least he had the chance to play.

    I’m optimistic about the victory. Bradford might step up their game, but realistically, we should be gaining maximum points against the teams that are struggling so far. Indeed, Bradford will pose a challenge and most likely turn it into a competitive match, but it’s up to us to leverage our home advantage. Please, no disturbances, Notts fans.

    Amazing to see the contribution of both Tommy Lawton and Roy Carroll to the proud history of Notts County on the same day, many years apart. Lawton for his debut goal and on-field brilliance, and Carroll for his extraordinary commitment to the club. It's stories like these that revive the golden era of the 'beautiful game'.

    Yes, it's a penalty, but it seems rather severe. Jodi Jones can't be expected to jump in the air as he did without it clearly hitting his arm. The real question we should be asking is, would the ball have gone in? I harbour my doubts, but I don't hold Jones responsible.

    @Piethagoram Don’t take it personally, but nobody can hold anyone responsible for it. It wasn’t Sam Slocombe’s fault that Crewe discovered that looping balls would put them behind our defenders. If there is any blame to be assigned, it falls on our defenders for not managing the threat. I don’t fault Jodi Jones, but you can’t leap like that in the modern game. To point fingers at Slocombe merely seems like comments making him a scapegoat.

    It’s a fantastic acquisition, and supporters shouldn’t pay too much attention to his brief appearance against Lincoln. While it’s nice to see him join from the bench, I suspect the reason we haven’t signed him for a longer period is due to squad size. I wonder if the club thought they had a better chance of approval for a two-month contract rather than for the entire season. It’s great to have Dan Gosling with us.

    He appears to be nearing a mid-life crisis, but his openness will allow him to recognise and express it if it occurs. I’m curious if he behaves this way in board meetings when things don’t go as planned.

    The outcome and loss don’t matter, nor does exiting the EFL Trophy. We have more important matters to attend to, and that’s not a joke about defeating Grimsby again. COYP!

    The acquisition of Dan Gosling appears to be a commendable move by the club, especially considering it’s only a short-term arrangement. This provides both the club and Gosling an opportunity to assess his compatibility with the team. If his performance proves satisfactory, I would be in favour of extending his stay for the remainder of the season. Beyond that, it remains to be seen what the future holds, but overall, it’s a promising signing.

    While my preference would be to concentrate on the league, the result was indeed positive and demonstrated the Notts team’s spirit in handling high-level opposition. I don’t believe anyone will linger on the performance; we must make allowances for our current situation, and winning games is paramount. I hope this victory bolsters the players’ confidence to improve our league form, providing them with a form of reward for their efforts.

    The loss of Matt Palmer is a big blow, but I believe we have players waiting in the wings who can cover and allow the club to reflect on the situation come January. Even without the injuries we have, every spell is going to be tough and its for everyone to make things work. I don't focus or pay attention to rumours, even if they do come with the best of intentions. This being shown to be true, doesn't mean much but people should remember that the information will come from third parties.
