  1. Go on Jodi! Run riot against the Three Lions and show Oxford United what they have lost out on while giving us a pleasing viewing experience to get over the departure of Ruben. Good luck!
  2. This is a brilliant story of a fan’s background and history of supporting Notts. He’s right, some fans are fickle, but many are superb and have backed this club all the way. Some just like to moan a bit too much; it’s more about their character. Great story.
  3. This article has many noteworthy points and Jim provides a polished and focused interview. I must say that when he eventually retires, I will miss seeing his name on the team sheet. On the other hand, I am excited to see O’Brien and Randall back in a Notts team again.
  4. I am very happy that Jim has signed a new one-year deal; it sounds about right. He can reflect on how he feels and his body at the end of the next campaign. For now, he is a useful squad member.
  5. Farewell Ruben. You have given us the best three years of your playing career and scored many wonderful goals. Without touching upon your other contributions, all the best with moving on.
  6. Oxford United fans will be hanging on our every word, so we should be mindful not to praise Ruben too much. Leave them guessing! He’s a good player; they’ve done well to snap him up and get him to commit. I did think he would go to a bigger club - no disrespect to Oxford, but League One is about right for them.
  7. In my opinion, it all depends on his role and the number of games he played. He performed well for Derby in a team that was pretty much forced together. I have decided to see the bigger picture and feel that if he can do well in that situation, his experience can help us in ours. It's important to consider the context in which he was playing and the challenges he faced. Despite the difficulties, he was able to perform at a high level and contribute to the team's success. This shows his resilience and adaptability, qualities that can be valuable in any situation.
  8. I remember watching the games against Coventry and thinking how great it would be to have a young player like Jodi Jones in our squad. He played with such flair and ambition and was a menace on the ball. His goals were skillfully crafted and I think our players hated playing against him. He was a joy to watch. Jodi Jones looked like he instantly fitted in with Notts. Sometimes you get players who come and don’t give their all, but I think he took his chance. I don’t know if he signed for Notts thinking this is where he could push on with his career or if he just saw it as a good chance to attract interest once his deal expired. Regardless, I am glad he signed for us and nobody else. He’s a big coup and will be a massive player for Notts in League Two. He is a talented player and I’m excited to see him play more for Notts County. He has already shown that he can make an impact on games with his pace and skill on the ball. He seems to have settled into the team well and I think he will only get better as he gets more game time.
  9. Jodi has been a real difference-maker for us this season. I’m sure he’ll continue to impress for Malta.
  10. Interesting list of potential players, Jack Armer if tempted away from Carlisle would be a solid signing. I do agree that having a CB that can cover for Adam Chicksen would help the squad overall. Some of the majority of the players I don’t know much about.
  11. Fantastic achievement for Tiernan Brooks to be called up to the Ireland U21 squad!
  12. Kwame Thomas never looked good and should not have made many appearances. His pace got him on the pitch but he showed no signs of quality on goal.
  13. @Chris did an amazing job with this interview. @Fan of Big Tone’s story is so touching and it was captured perfectly in this article. The way he describes his experiences and memories is so vivid and it really brings the reader into his world. Well done, to you both!
  14. Welcome to the club, Will! You’re joining a great team with a great history and a great fanbase. I’m looking forward to seeing you in action at Meadow Lane. You have my full support!
  15. Forest Green Rovers’ promotion to League One followed by a single-season stay is a valuable lesson for us. It’s crucial to establish ourselves and build on our success to ensure sustained progress. Thank you, Simon Clark, for highlighting the resilience and spirit shown by these teams in their playoff journeys. It’s motivating to see their determination pay off, and it gives us hope for our own club.
  16. Macaulay Langstaff has deserved every bit of success and accolades. His achievements last season is not only historic but poetry in motion has witnessed his success.
  17. This is fantastic news for everyone involved with Notts County. Sam Slocombe is a class act and a vital part of our team. He’s not only a superb keeper, but also a great character and a role model for the youngsters. He’s shown his commitment to the club by signing a new deal and I’m over the moon that he’s staying with us.
  18. It is fantastic news indeed that Connell has been given this opportunity. Not only is he a superb player on the field, but he is also a superb person off the field. He has been an integral part of both our squad and our community, consistently showing his appreciation and devotion to Notts. Connell truly deserves this chance to showcase his abilities and leadership skills. I have no doubt that he will guide us to triumph in the upcoming season.
  19. Delighted for Connell, he’s been brilliant for us since he joined. He’s one of our own now and I’m sure he’ll give his all to get us to League One. He’s got the passion and the quality that we need. Well done Rawlinson!
  20. Wishing you all the best, Greg Tempest! You’ve shown great talent and determination on the pitch, and I have no doubt that you’ll continue to excel in your future endeavours. Keep up the hard work!
  21. I’m so happy for Jodi Jones. He deserves this opportunity after working hard and proving himself on loan. He’s a young and exciting winger who can create and score goals. He’ll fit in well with our style of play and our ambitions.
  22. He’s incredible! Langstaff’s talent and dedication are truly admirable. He has shown an unwavering commitment to his craft and has consistently delivered top-notch performances. His hard work and determination have paid off in spades, and he continues to amaze us with his incredible talent.
  23. Jonathan Forte was a fantastic player with quick feet and great skill. He had an incredible ability to control the ball and navigate through defenders with ease. His agility and speed made him a formidable opponent on the pitch, and he always gave his all for the team. Forte’s technical ability was matched only by his passion for the game, and he always played with heart and determination. He was a true asset to the team and his contributions will never be forgotten.
  24. I really hope Jodi Jones signs permanently for Notts. He’s a class act and a valuable asset to the team.
  25. Matt Palmer’s performance at Wembley against Chesterfield was truly remarkable. He demonstrated exceptional skill and control on the pitch, consistently making the right decisions and executing them flawlessly.
