Another tough game for us magpies, it's one where I'd like us to get something out of just to build confidence and a lot of this depends on how we play, what Bradford's setup is and if we can actually get going quite steadily. I don't think they will play a weaker side myself, I fully expect them to come at us in a stubborn manner.

I hope we can start brightly, if we can then there's everything chance we can get something out of the game.

My guts telling me that we won't play well, it will be depressing to watch but you know what? I plan to be positive on the day regardless, I win sing and try to silence any negativity no matter how the people around me think.

We need to get something from the game, we really do. My score prediction is 1-1.

What do you think? Score predictions?

nice to sda jumping straight in with the score prediction. where are your thoughts @Super_Danny_Allsopp? :P

dont be down. ;)

i think they will most likely be much better than us and i can see them cruising past us. i will say 1-2 to them, liddle and sheehan. i mean lita. i will also say i see them leading 2-0 for awhile, until we turn on the quality and in the last 10 minutes we score. i hope we can get something!

We can't defend like we did against Swindon, it needs to be much better but its good to hear about Spencer. Hopefully it lifts the squad and we can get something.

1-1 seems fair.

We won't win, not remotely good enough currently and I agree with the 0-3 score prediction.

Will Bradford be distracted by their cup run? Will Notts finally 'click'?Will Notts have another player sent off? I have a feeling that Notts will surprise eveyone and win 2- 0.(Steps back and awaits ridicule)

We need to get into the game quickly and be at them... If we give Bradford time to settle, then I see us losing again.. but if we go at them (with Discipline) then we will get something from the game

Head says 1-3

Heart says 2-1

I will live in perpetual hope of us getting 3 points on Saturday. Please let it happen, Notts!

I am hoping their players will be thinking about the cup replay and not wanting to get injured.

2-1 to Notts but a very nervy game.

COME ON YOU PIES WE CAN DO THIS!!!!

Bradford are a good side but earlier on in the season I would have said we could beat them, despite thinking our squad is somewhat stronger now, I think we will lose simply because of our poor form but i do hope they surprise me. If we play well in any game we can always get something, we just need to pull ranks in the defence and block the shots.

0-2 to them.

Thoughts?

We will try and park the bus from minute 1. This will fail, and we concede at least 1, probably more, sloppy goal(s) and/or calamitous defending. Nobles not playing so no red card banker there, but Roy Carroll will be booked for arguing with officials and/or time-wasting. Likelihood is more towards arguing as time-wasting would imply we are at least drawing. Hollis will put his foot through anything that comes near him, player or ball. SD 50/50 to get sent to the stands.

After the game, SD will comment that 'it's not one we were expecting to get anything from etc....'. Might as well not bother, then!

Hoping to be proven wrong, but that's the general trend of our performances this season.

We concede too many soft goals. Bradford have the quality to exploit this. I wasn't all that impressed by them against Reading. We could get something out of the game. I don't think we will though. 1-2. Lita.

I'd like us to get a win again, but i do see this game ending in a draw or loss.

I am hoping for

----------Carroll-----------
-Mullins-Edwards-Hollis-Adams--
---------Jones--C.Thompson-----
-JCR---------------------McCourt--
--------Lita------Thompson--------

But will be dreading what I think we will line-up as:

-----------------Carroll----------------
-Mullins-Edwards-Hollis-Adams-
---------Jones-----Smith-----------
-JCR----C.Thompson--McCourt-
========MASSIVE GAP=========
========MASSIVE GAP=========
========MASSIVE GAP=========
========MASSIVE GAP=========

------------Lita-----------------------

This can also be expressed as:
----------------Carroll-------------
-JCR-Mullins-Smith-C.Thompson-Edwards-Hollis-Jones--Adams-McCourt-
========MASSIVE GAP=========
========MASSIVE GAP=========
========MASSIVE GAP=========
========MASSIVE GAP=========

========MASSIVE GAP=========
========MASSIVE GAP=========
========MASSIVE GAP=========

========MASSIVE GAP=========
========MASSIVE GAP=========
========MASSIVE GAP=========

---------------Lita---------------------

Sorry guys always predict a win and get disappointed. We will go out today and play defensive, which always gets our players spooked. We will have very little attacking options so predict a loss to nil, with no shots on target.

If that don't work then nothing will. Three points boys. COME ON YOU PIES!

A little reserves psychology? ;)

I don't know why but I am full of optimism today, I'm very excited and I don't even think us losing could spoil this. So, COYP!

Notts: Carroll, Adams, Mullins ©, Hollis, G Thompson, Jones, C Thompson, Lita, McCourt, Whitehouse, Edwards.

Subs: Smith, Wroe, Hayhurst, Newton, Daniels, Bajner, Pilkington.

As predicted, 1 up front at home. Thank god he hasn't gone super-negative and put Smith in, but Whitehouse instead.

happy with the draw, more than I thought we would get, we seem to have done much better with regards to discipline... well done Lads

Scrappy point, but probably very valuable. Just a good job that they squandered some gilt edged chances, Carrol pulled off a couple of great stops and Mullins managed a goal saving challenge.

That was pretty grim tbh!

I'll take a point, probably a fair result if we are honest, Carroll made some good saves but we missed some good chances too, I thought we looked better when Bajner came on, I wasn't overly impressed with Lita but I can't understand people who cheered when he was subbed, not necessary in my opinion.
