So with the new owners from South Africa arriving in the uk From yesterday to first to dot i’s and cross the T’s at the golf course and make the sale official. But they to me seemingly wouldn’t be very hands on.

If this is the case and they will be appointing a chairman to take care of the day to day running of the club who do think would make the ideal chairman for Notts County.?

So I know the retaining list and the gaffers future hasn’t been published or announced yet but what do you think the squad needs to look like next season what players do we need keep or attract for next season?

So with 17 players retained how many of them do you think will be sold to make way for fresh players or will won’t to leave because they don’t want to play none league football.

When Notts released him last time, I was a little mixed about it. I think in midfield, he does quite well, yet he never seems 100% fit and his motor has never seemed to be the best for me. After he returned on loan, I felt he did okay, but still looked very unfit. His form dipped and triggering the signing of his contract sort of annoyed me.

I would have been content to leave the loan deal to expire.

I have read a lot of comments from fans being disappointed by his release, I'm not shocked. As a left back, he was extremely poor going forward, he struggled to keep up and he often would make the wrong decisions. His passing also seemed to become shocking, including his crosses.

Honestly, I feel Notts made the correct call. He's been poor and seems vastly overrated.

I don't fault his effort, just his ability and fitness.

With all the released players and if, as I expect, Enzio, Kristian Dennis and/or Kane Hemmings follow them out the door, we have quite a lot of transfer business to do.

Yesterday the NEP published seven potential new players for us. It's mostly a list of football geriatrics on the way down, but one name stood out: Matty Kosylo, a 26-year-old goalscoring winger at Halifax rumoured to be attracting interest from Yeovil. He's a good age, proven at this level and is looking to make a step up in his career. That's the key for us now - we need players on the way up, not knackered old workhorses looking for a swansong.

In my view we need to be doing our shopping at the smaller National League clubs - with all due respect to them, surely we have more to offer to players who want to step up their careers. A bit like the signing of Neal Bishop from Barnet - he'd spent most of his career in non-league up to that point. We could do with another Bish now!

Thoughts? What kind of players should we be looking for? Any names?

If you could just pick one player/manger even commentator past or present to go in to pon hall of fame who would it be.?

With the South African consortium set to talk to Lie Of The Tiger tomorrow, do you think this will be done this week? I'm quite annoyed with how long this has taken to be honest.

It sounds like Jim O'Brien has a lot of respect for Neal Ardley, you could also assume he feels a new manager could be appointed as The Post speculated that he wanted to be reassured of Ardleys future first.

I feel both should remain, I would hope O'Brien re-signs because he's good enough.

Let's get the JOB done. ????

A lot of fans seem to desire the skill, flash, and reputation that comes attached to players like Kane Hemmings and Kristian Dennis. Although as we have seen last season, it doesn't always pan out as it would seem. On paper, things like the above often look good, but ultimately it's all down to the service and teamwork.

Last season, Notts desperately lacked height and speed, something that wasn't addressed as such but more with added experience.

I don't want Notts to be branded a club where washed up players come to hang up their boots, or obtain that last good pay day because of the fans support.

I would hope the club could become a team, which not only generates its own stars from within the Notts academy, but also a club that can take on existing young talent and mentor them into good squad players. The reason I feel this doesn't often work, is mostly down to time and the lack of focus.

Notts tends to sign the wrong players, at the wrong age and only positive aspect tends to be their "experience".

Yet, once the club has addressed the takeover and started to build on the infrastructure - I would hope they look to sign players who have the technical ability, height and speed to really add the depth missing from the squad.

In the news the other week, The Post mentioned how the Supporters' Trust wanted a say on the clubs happening and be a voice for fans. After the way the Trust grave the club away and the lack of knowledge of who runs the group, how do you feel? Are you in favour of a Supporters' Trust?

So Tom Crawford has returned from a loan spell with A.F.C Flyde of the National league. He also played in the final of the national League playoff at Wembley as Salford beat A.F.C Flyde 3-0 to earn promotion to league football.

So could that loan spell help Tom Crawford next season if he remains at meadow lane as we face playing National league football next season.

Oxford have released Jon obika and four other players.

Would you be happy to see any of these at meadow lane.?

I know oxford are a league one side and would be a drop down for the players but there young players who maybe looking for a fresh start. The players concerned have a torrid time in league one so none league could be a way to reinvent themselves.

It seems that Notts county are in line to receive a parachute payment Of £500,000 after relegation and another £250,000 next summer.

Just thought you should all know that we have released the following kids, Max Culverwell, Tyreece Kennedy-Williams, Owen Betts, Coden Duncan & Oscar Ramirez.

Expect to see Max Culverwell at another league club very soon.

So it seems every club announcement about retained or released as almost happened except ours but the everning post say the players will receive a letter shortly telling them there futures and then an announcement will be made to us fans hopefully this week.

So we have had 7 days to digest the relegation and what’s happened with our beloved Notts county this season. But I’ve got to say after taking time to think about it this has been coming. We did have a good last season what with the play off but to come from that to relegation is not excepted-able. It seems for every high we achieve a period of hell follows. Promotion to league one then battles against relegation then relegation same this season. But it seems every time we have a new owner relegation follows.

I’m thinking maybe this relegation could be a blessing in disguise because we can rebuild and hopefully get a owner that knows his stuff and get some stability I may be being a idiot but what dose everyone else think?

Okay, as far as the list of priorities this is quite low.

I admit this, however, I recall when it was ran with passion and a staple of the football club community. A part of Notts which brought young fans together, I know many fans who often ask if it's still running or disappointed when their events get cancelled.

In terms of pride and looking after our own, the worth of this is so much more important than that of what people think. If Notts is doing poorly, I don't see why the younger fans should be forgotten. Whilst I also hate this 'YOUng PIES', I would love to see the club invest some quality planning for this or at least see if the NCFITC could help to ensure it's done well.

Bring back the Junior Magpies I say, forget this silly re-branding.
