The day before the Cheltenham match in November I decided to enter battle with our online ticketing system so I could beat the queue at the ticket office. I tried all three of my bank cards and failed - each time the system loaded for what felt like an eternity before issuing an error message. As a last resort I tried my dad's credit card (with his consent) with the same result. I gave up and bought my ticket at the ground instead.

Why am I telling you this? TodayΒ my dad's credit card was billed by the club for 20 pounds for a ticket I never received! I'm embarrassed to say the least. Not only was no ticket sent, I never received confirmation of any kind. I've written to the club and hopefully they'll sort it ASAP. Paying once to see that rubbish was bad enough!

If any of you have tried to useΒ the old Medoc ticketing system but had the same problemΒ with payment, I urge you to check that no money was withdrawn for tickets you didn't receive.

A game of goals. Poor defence from both sides resulted in a 3-3 draw away at Colchester. While most fans would have taken a point at the start of the game ... they would not in the fashion of how the game panned out.

Szmodics gave The U's the lead after just 8 minutes but then Notts went through the gears and hit 3 past the sorry home team.

But in typical Notts fashion nothing is ever easy so we concede late in the first half and then what seemingly is a dive concede a penalty which was 100% going in before the ball was even kicked.

A good away point and with some results going our way it means next weeks game against Cambridge and the following week at Yeovil is 6 points we must take.

Alan Hardy in a recent interview has declared that Notts County will suffer a Β£3 million pound loss this season.

What are your thoughts guys and girls.?Β

On Tuesday, it was officially announced what everyone expected at least after dropping out of the Polish Cup with Miedzia.Β Tadeusz PawΕ‚owski ceased to be a coach of Silesia.Β He returned to the position of the director of the academy, because such a position was guaranteed in the contract in the event of dismissal of the first team coach.Β

- Tadeusz PawΕ‚owski is a living legend of Silesia and I would like it to continue to be an important part of the club.Β Currently, however, we found ourselves in a difficult situation.Β The result of each meeting will be extremely important to us.Β We decided that changes are necessary that will give the team a new boost - emphasizes Piotr WaΕ›niewski, the president of Silesia.Β

For the time being, the team in the last two games is to be led by PaweΕ‚ Barylski, but it is difficult to predict who he will give away.Β The situation in Silesia is so dynamic that even recently it seemed that even a temporary trainer would not be needed.

They did not want a quarrel

Silesia already had the "well-known" Spanish-born Dutchman Ricardo Moniz, well-known in Poland.Β According to our findings, it was virtually accepted by the supervisory board, but the candidacy unexpectedly fell.Β The reasons for canceling the case on the final straight are not entirely clear, but everything seems to have been supported by the position of people from Oporowska who did an environmental interview and realized that Moniz had recently left the Slovakian AS Trencin seriously at odds with a large part of the local environment.Β He was accused, among other things, that he should focus more on his team than on fighting with the judges, he accused the league of being completely corrupt.Β In comparison with the circumstances in which he parted in 2014 with Lechia, it did not bode for harmonious cooperation.Β Silesia would be the sixth club in its CV in just four years.Β In Gdansk, despite promising results, Moniz could not find a common language with the decision-makers.Β He complained that he had no influence on the team he was trying to mount behind his back.Β At the end, he gave up work in Lechia for the benefit of TSV Munich in a way that in Gdansk was taken away as an escape, although it must be handed over to him that the clause about the possibility of leaving guaranteed him a contract.Β

Slovak direction

If not Moniz, who? Silesia is determined to seek a coach abroad. It has many possibilities, but very strong quotations of other foreigners will be very strong. He is a 41-year-old Serb Ivan Vukomanović, a former defender of, among others Bordeaux and Belgian clubs KSC Lokeren and Royal Antwerp. In 2014-15, a large part of the Vukomanović season was run by Standard Liege. Previously as the assistant coach Guy Luzon won with the Standard vice-championship of Belgium, but failed to break off the gates to the Champions League (Walloons have passed in qualifying Panathinaikos, but dropped out of Zenit and played only in the group stage LE). Behind Serb speaks great knowledge of working in an international environment and probably a great ease in mastering the Polish language, because he has already encountered the Slovak language. It has been free since about a year after splitting with Slovan Bratislava, where he worked for over 12 months. He won with him the vice-championship of Slovakia in the 2016/17 season, when Žilina was unrivaled. After the first season, the Slovaks were delighted with it. The owner of the club offered Vukomanovici a 3-year contract, which Serb signed exactly on the 40th birthday. Then, after a series of weaker results, the future candidate for training Silesia was farewell by Slovan.

Interestingly, last year's English Daily Mail tied him with the Birmingham City English Championship.Β He was supposed to be a man to replace Gianfranco Zola, a poorly performing at St Andrew's Stadium, today a manager of Chelsea, although the British called Serb a "shocking candidate".

According toΒ Rijnmond TV fromΒ South HollandΒ ,Β ClΓ‘udio BragaΒ , head coach of MarΓtimo, formerly leading the Portuguese,Β takes over the Dutch second-class FC Dordrecht after the winter break after the team has defeated 1-0 on Oss.Β As professional coach so far, led by Scott Calderwood - 5 wins in 1 game, 2 defeats, 2 draws.

-Β We are facing great challenges.Β We hope your performance will improve and we will improve.Β I trust the guys that we will be able to improve together.Β Apparently, the team is in trouble with goal scoring, and the right decisions are not always in the forefront of the attackΒ - Braga told Rijnmond TV.

Β

In addition to Braga,Β Ricardo MonizΒ , aΒ Dutchman who controlled FerencvΓ‘ros between 2012 and 2013Β , andΒ Jan Wouters were nominated for the position.

"Β We had a narrow list, and finally we decided to go with Braga,Β " Hans de Zeeuw began as club manager, and then he regretted the entry into force of the contract for the Portuguese specialist on January 1.Β "Β We just wanted to sign a contract on January 2 to save costs, but we couldn't find a better solution."

Dordrecht scored 11 points in the championship in 19 rounds, and is 19th in the Eerste Divise table, one point behind the last Jong AZ.Β Moniz was last led by the leading edge AS TrencΓn in Slovakia, but after five months, heΒ resigned from his post on theΒ next day of RuΕΎomberok (Rose Hill) (0-1)Β .

So tonight in a tweet answering a fellow magpie fan Alan Hardy announced that we had signed one player on (Thursday night) but it seems in another tweet Alan said he is looking to sign another player tomorrow.

Wow two players in two days who do you think the second player could be.?Β

So Notts are away to Colchester this Saturday who will be making the trip to County’s second away game of 2018.

So the new year hasn’t started great for Notts or us fans a 2-0 loss to Oldham leaves us bottom of league two at the start of the year.Β

Notts today suffered a double blow today not only did we not win but with Cambridge being demolished 6-0 by promotion chasingΒ Β mk dons and Macclesfield being held to a 1-1 draw by Tranmere Notts miss the chance to close the gap from three points to one. With Yeovil loosing to Cheltenham 4-1 who sit in twenty first another chance lost.Β Β

So the first part of the season 2018 - 2019 seasonΒ has come and gone some players have done well while others struggled.Β

my question is who is your 2018 player of the seasonΒ so far.? Β

Which player has impressed you the most in the first half of the season.?

Just wanted to wish everyone a happy new year hope you all have a great 2019.Β

New Year's Day Fixtures:
Derby County v Middlesbrough
Ipswich Town v Millwall
Luton Town v Barnsley
Southend United v Gillingham
Morecambe v Carisle United
Yeovil Town v Cheltenham Town

Mine:
Derby County 1-1 Middlesbrough
Ipswich Town 2-1 Millwall
Luton Town 2-2 Barnsley
Southend United 2-0 Gillinghm (joker)
Morecambe 0-2 Carlisle United
Yeovil Town 0-0 Cheltenham Town

Ross 2 - I've tried to be patient with him and whilst he has improved over the season, these last few games have showed why we need a new keeper. He just can't command his area

Tootle 3 - Did ok in the first half. Did what he had to do at right wing back before being subbed off after picking another injury

Brisley 4 - Decent first half. Again did the basics and defended well in the opening 45. Game was over once the second went in

Duffy 5 - Notts' best player. Tried to go forward with the ball at some points.Β

Bird 4 - Got a good eye for a pass and is our only quick centre back. Will continue to learn, the more games he gets

Evina 4 - He's ok in theΒ wing back role as he can use his pace to help support the attack. No idea if the first goal is his fault

Milsom 1 - Get rid. No clue. Clown. Useless. Walking yellow card. Doesn't impact the game in any way

Vaughan 2 - Not cut out for League Two. He doesn't have the time on the ball that he is used to and isn't a threat physically to the opposition

Kellett 4 - Did what he could

Dennis 3Β - I like him but when we did have the ball he made no runs in behind. Then in the second half he really couldn't do much as the game was over by the55th minute

Stead 3 - Showing his age. Poor old carthorse

Β

Subs

Oxlade-Chamberlain 0 - Not League 2 standard. Took a throwing in the second half that went out of play

Thomas 3 - Takes too many touches when he's on the ball. Couldn't really impact the game when it was already finished

Etete 2 - Game was over by the time he came on

Β

Ardley - Can't really give a rating to him as he's working with absolute dross and he looks dejectedΒ

Hi guys , my video from the bury game. Enjoy :).

So New Year’s Day see’sΒ Notts travel to Oldham will you going to support the lads.?

Game 26 - Latics (A)

Team: Oldham Athletic

Date: 01/01/19

Where: Boundary Park

What line-up should Neal ArdleyΒ opt for? What will be the key areas for the Magpies to get a victory? What do you think the final score will be?

  • Speechless... ????????‍♂️

Another red card? It's not good but Neal Ardley must get better from this squad away from home. I'm not surprised, Oldham are much better than what some thought.

I will be interested to see and read people's reactions.

Getting sent off for two bookable offences when you only came on as a half-time sub is indefensible, I don't think we'll be seeing him again. I hope Tootle is fit again against Colchester.

We started well and Bird was unlucky not to score, but as the first half wore on Oldham pushed us deeper and deeper. The first goal was a complete fluke, the second the Notts speciality where everyone stands still and watches a cross sail into the box. We were always up against it after that and we never managed to sustain any pressure at all. Next...

Well back to back strong performances seem to be beyond us it seems, hoped for a better away day after what was a terrific performance against Bury , but not to be , had some misfortune must be said , it’s true you make your own , maybe if we were going well Bird scores and that fluke doesn’t go in , nothing Changes bottom teams today didn’t do well best was Macclesfield getting a point , January is still massive, that’s not changed really has it ? A game less now , hope NA proves to be the magician we hoped .Β

Guy and girls can you joinΒ me in wishing the lovelyΒ @GrannyPieΒ a very happy birthday. 21 today she is god bless her have a fantastic day @GrannyPie.Β

Notts are now looking doomed. Please get out of our club and allow someone in who is capable of running the club properly.

All the Pride of Nottingham team would like to take a moment to wish all the members and guests, a very merry Christmas!

We hope you truly have a wonderful day! You Pies!!

So with the new year just hours away has any one made any New Years resolutions.?

Thank you @ARLukomskiΒ for the idea.Β
1. Creme eggΒ
2. EclairΒ
3. Fudge
4. Twirl
5. Wispa
6. Dairy milk caramelΒ
7. Dairy milk

The defence played bloody fantastic against Bury and looked solid. Brisley , Duffy and Bird as a back three often rewarded each other for their work giving each other hand shakes and pats on the back ... little things can really boost a players morale.

But at any moment when Bury went on the attack thought that Fitzsimmons would fluff the game and loose it for us? I did.

We need a keeper in January full stop. Numerous times he should have come to collect the ball and didn't. The defence don't trust him.Β I am sure he's a cracking lad but there isΒ so many mistakes in his game that need development and we need someone with experience to rely on before it's too late.

Been saying this since he took the No. 1 shirt and to be fair some of it is not all his fault but if we had conceded you couldn't have blamed the defence yesterday as they were absolutely faultless.

So Notts got a 0-0 draw at home to Bury with both Cambridge (toilet seat team) and Macclesfield losing has helpedΒ Notts.Β

We may be bottom and three point adrift but if we lost it would have been worse.Β

With a 3 point gap I feel it’s back in our hands now and with a few more results we can survive.Β

Hopefully todays result will now spread confidence through the team and hopefully give us theΒ lift that we need.Β

Thoughts guys and girls
