For those who weren't at the match on Saturday Colin Slater was given a great standing ovation after being inducted into Notts County's Hall of Fame on his 80th Birthday.

I only hope I am as mentally sharp as Colin if I am lucky enough to reach 80 years of age.

You have been dealt a really bad hand, but stick with us, im convinced with your passion and love of Notts you can rescue us from this shocking season, if the worse does happen at least you can clear the decks and get your players in. I cant wait for tomorrow and will start lubricating my vocal chords around midday! Coyp

Trio May Return For O’s Encounter

Sidelined trio Dean Leacock, Gary Liddle and Mustapha Dumbuya could return to action in this weekend’s game between Notts County and Leyton Orient.

fairly good news, we need a right back and probably time to move sheehan to left back.

Chelsea to push for criminal convictions if any fan displays anti-Semitism

<!--url{0}-->Chelsea have warned they will push for criminal convictions if any supporters engage in anti-Semitic behaviour when Tottenham Hotspur visit Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.

Three fans, who were facing prosecution for using the y-word at Spurs matches in the autumn, had charges dropped the day before the Premier League meeting of the two London sides.

But the Blues vowed to come down hard on discriminatory behaviour ahead of the derby and issued a statement on their club website.

It said: "The support of both sets of fans will make for an excellent atmosphere, and we urge everyone to keep that support positive.

"For a small minority, this game also brings a deeply unpleasant and unwanted level of anti-Semitic abuse which has no place in football or anywhere in society.

"Opposition supporters using terms as a form of identity is no excuse for abusive chanting or behaviour. The club asks that all supporters realise such actions cause huge offence to those around them.

"The Football Association reiterated in its directive announced last year that the use of the 'Y' word in football stadiums is unacceptable and could amount to a criminal offence, leaving those fans liable to prosecution and potentially a lengthy Football Banning Order.

"This is fully supported by Chelsea Football Club. The diversity at Chelsea is obvious to everybody, and a source of pride.

"The players on the field, the supporters in the stands, our staff, directors and owner (Roman Abramovich, who is Jewish) all illustrate our vision as a club which embraces equality, regardless of race, gender, sexuality or religion.

"We have worked hard to combat all forms of discrimination at Stamford Bridge. If we receive evidence that supporters have engaged in anti-Semitic or any other form of discriminatory chanting or behaviour we will take the strongest possible action, including supporting criminal prosecution."

Will Milwall and other clubs follow on? There's still a level of nasty and thuggish yobs, no need for these on match days!

A pensioner dressed up as Elvis has managed to out vote the Liberal Democrats in Clifton's local council by-election. He called himself The Bus Pass Elvis Party :rollonfloorlaughing:  :rollonfloorlaughing:  :rollonfloorlaughing:

Couldn't stop laughing at this earlier, not only is Clifton where I grew up, but just the story in general, this sort of thing would only happen in Nottingham!

I wonder how embarrassed the Lib Dem guy is feeling right now

Poor game to be honest, but a strong England side managed to overcome a spirited Welsh side at Pride Park tonight in front of over 13,000. England looked particularly strong in Midfield with Southampton's Ward-Prouse in the holding role, & Palace's Ince & Redmond of Norwich bombing forward. Nice experience watching an international game, even stood chatting to two Notts fans who growled at me (in a friendly manner) because of last weekend.

England;

Butland (Stoke)

Robinson (Liverpool)

Jenkinson (Arsenal)

Stones (Everton)

Chalobah (Chelsea)

Redmond (Norwich)

Ward-Prouse (Southampton)

Ince (Palace)

Morrison (West Ham)

Carroll (Spurs)

Berahino (WBA)

Subs who came on;

Ings (Burnley)

Hughes (Derby)

Moore (Leicester)

I know some of these players are on loan, but i've put their parent clubs!!!

I'm picking up my new car at the weekend. Its a Citroen Grand Picasso. It is paid for by mobility due to my son being severely disabled, but never the less its still a new motor!

Does a car reflect the person?

What do you own and what would you swap it for?

I own a Nissan Qashqai and its being swapped for the Picasso.

Reflecting me wise, impossible to compare as we only went for that one to fit Bens' wheelchair into the boot with more ease than we can now! In saying that though we have paid a little extra ourselves to ensure we have a luxury ride. All the bells and whistles are a must!!! so that must say something about me!

i think he will do well against England  but the fact he is a player from the  championship will go against hIm because the England team mostly play in the perm league. But i think he will give a good account of himself and do well. Proving the fact he belongs in the premiership in the future. good luck  to a notts county legend in my opinion

We seem to have missed this.Better late than never I hope,Welcome to PoN,Mark Priestley.Hope you're joining in soon.

Please take the time to spread the community spirit and congratulate all 3 members. YOU PIES!

I genuinely hope that this post doesn't come across as patronising, because that'd be the last thing i'd want.

The main thing our two clubs have in common is that we're traditionally lower two division clubs.

Since we were relegated from the Championship in 2004/05, Rotherham United have had to endure two spells in administration, had a total of 37 points deducted by our Football League friends in punishment for said administrations, had to endure the club playing home games in Sheffield (Don Valley Stadium) for four seasons because of our greedy ex chairman & owner of Millmoor charging the club exorbitant rent for the site & almost bankrupting the club. I for one do not & will never forget those dark days, even though we now have a fairly benevolent Chairman, who delivered on his promise of building a new stadium in the town & the good times seemingly having returned.

Notts have a fine stadium, a good potential fanbase, passionate knowledgeable supporters, a young manager who loves the club & who is desperate to succeed. Mr Trew & you Pies fans should stick with Derry, relegation may (or may not) happen, let him have the summer to clearout the dead wood & sign his own players, then & only then, can Notts fans start to judge him.

I know it's rough ATM, but stick together & keep the faith!!!!!

Not sure what happened to my caps, i tried FFP, oh well.

So let's have your predictions, on 2 teams who (If any) will be punished for their financial Turn over.

Also i can see this bringing football to it's knees here in England, especially around the Top 2 leagues.

My Guess is:

QPR

Watford

With notts county now in the drop, which players can help us escape? Do you think any will stand out and could save us from the drop?

For me there is a few players that come to mind i think for me it gunner be mcgreggor he has performed great all season for us with hardly any bad performances i think he will prove a player we can't do with out in fight for survival.

Hi all,

Firstly thank you for enquiring as to my well being!!! It has been good to know that there are people who miss you.

My head is not always in a bright and happy place, in fact over the last month or so, it has been in exactly the opposite.

I will pop in, when I feel like I can interact, but if you don't see me around for a while, at least now you know why.

I don't see there is anything to be done, as far as I am concerned, I am on the way up. I just hope it continues...

Not me, but spare a thought for those that suffer from depression, it really is a horrible unseen illness.

Anyway, we are Notts County we move on, or onwards and upwards, whichever you prefer.

I am back albeit in fits and starts at the moment.

Live on ITV tonight- KO 8.00pm. First of 4 friendlies in the lead up to this years World cup finals.

Also tonight- Live on BT sports1- England v Wales U21 live from Pride Park, sorry, The ipro Stadium-KO 6.00pm.I understand @BradtheMiller will be attending this one.'m looking forward to both games.

I for one will be going down to support them, anyone else going down. They are Notts County as well now. Some top teams coming, Arsenal 1st home game £6

Really good experience today, I went to the Custard Factory along @judgepie and another friend. I encourage you all watch it :)

Jurgen kindly gave his expert opinion.

Really interesting.

Have IMO pulled off a transfer masterstroke

Luke "offside" Rodgers, brought in to partner Lee Hughes upfront...

Oh what I would have given to have kept these two together for one more season

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26383249

sol campbell thinks he would be england captain for more then 10 years if he was born white is it just me or is this a form of racism playing the im black card for sympathy wasnt that great a player and was a massive c**t to notts aswell.

Dread to think what our home gates are going to be, they have been going down steady for a season and a half now. Fans are losing interest and wont pay £24 to watch performances like the last few. If we go down then I can see stands being closed down and the matchday staff reduced to bare minimum. Mr & Mrs Trew will be looking to sell, but with no one likely to take over.

The future once again will be an uncertain one. Sorry to  paint a bleak picture, but it's a reality that could happen and needs facing up to.
