  1. Alri mate it's called the Europa League now and not the UEFA Cup :D

  2. Hi my name is William.

Im a huge Notts County fan, and have been since I was a child and went with my grandad. I have been many times over the last few years with my fiance and nephew.

I am very exceited surrounding the news of County's takeover and the new players we have been signing. I was very impressed with our performance against Bradford.

I look forward to promoting this site and gaining more members.

    1. 1. In with the new out with the old emblem?

      • Yes, I'd prefer to see the new one.
      • No

This will remain for discussion for a few weeks, so I'd like to ask people to cast their views on this poll as it will decide weather or not it's important that we change the old emblem for the new one.

I know many dislike it. (I'm one of those)

Truly because I don't feel it fits our clubs image, no gold or yellow! Plus I've always had a soft spot for the magpies which as always been our focus point as proudly displayed.

However, though I dislike like and feel disappointed it is a big part of our club and it's not based on my feelings alone. It's down to all those who join us here at notts-county.co.uk and whatever the outcome it will be followed. (lets just hope it's not a bore draw!!!) :P

  5. Hi,

Here's a little bit about myself..

I'm 22, I'm married to cheeky and I live in nottingham and have done all my life. The only places I've been to was france (school trip) and skegness (holiday), so I'm very much a proud brit. Also proud parent of two wonderful children Jake and Ellie

My passion for county started from a young age, my grandfather was football mad and I take a lot after him.

I recall going to some games, especially the anglo italian cup finals (the one we won) was a great game and as well as playoff games which seem long a go. The last season game I went to was back when big same was in charge of us. Sadly I didn't return due to feeling it would be strange with the absents of my grandfather, although I have been meaning to more than once. (I did go to the derby friendly tho)

Hopefully this place will grow as does notts, my passion for this club as been un-channeled for far to long.

  6. I hate these things, I never know what to say!

I'm currently 21 (22 in a matter of weeks:) ) I live in nottingham with my fiance and his parents. We try to go to as many matches as physically possible, especcially while i get my student discount, lol. We're currently expecting our first child aswell...and were excieted to go to the Derby friendly, as it will technically have been baby's first county match. We already have a few notts county bits for buba.

Were also having our wedding and reception at Meadow Lane in May 2010, which should be good. As county fans we felt that it would be a good way of celebrating our love of the club with the rest of our family!

  7. Although I didn't go to the game, I was really impressed by the highlights I caught on the new "The Football League Show". It's a shame we didn't see more than just the goals but I hope to see a live game at some point this season. (provided it's on my off day, unlikely) :(

For those who went what did you make of the game?

    All opinions, comments welcomed..
