It's that time of the month again - Myself and Cheeky have been discussing, on a month which has seen quite a few people away (ourselves included) it's been a little slow but those who have posted have helped immensely.

As I am working nights this weekend & the Millers are away at Brentford, the local games don't interest me, & Notts are kindly putting on a cheapie, I thought i'd grace ML with my presence for the second time this season. Looking forward to it, & i'll give my opinion of the game afterwards.

Asda and Tesco withdraw 'psycho' patient outfits
Asda offered its "sincere apologies" for the offence it caused
Supermarket chains Tesco and Asda have withdrawn Halloween outfits from sale after widespread criticism.
Asda's "mental patient fancy dress costume" is no longer available while Tesco followed suit by removing its "psycho ward" offering.
Following criticism, including from one "stunned" mental health charity, both stores have apologised.
Asda said it would be making a "very sizeable donation" to mental health charity Mind as a result.
The ΓΒ£20 Asda outfit included clothing, fake blood, a mask and a fake meat cleaver while Tesco's orange boiler suit offered to "complete the look" with a machete.
A Tesco spokesperson said: "We're really sorry for any offence this has caused and we are removing this product from sale."
In a statement on Wednesday evening, Asda, which is owned by US retail giant Walmart, said the sale had been a "completely unacceptable error".

"[The costume] should never have been sold and it was withdrawn as soon as it was brought to our attention."
Asda added: "We're deeply sorry one of our fancy dress costumes has upset people."
It is understood the costume had been on sale through Asda's clothing outlet George for two days, before being withdrawn from sale on Wednesday morning following a complaint from a customer.
Asda said the product had been removed from the website in the afternoon but the relevant page remained visible for a few hours.
It disappeared after the criticism on Twitter started to emerge.
Former Downing Street director of communications Alastair Campbell, who has written about his experiences with mental health issues, branded their sale by established companies as "unacceptable".
Speaking to BBC London, he said: "We are trying to change attitudes towards mental illness so people do not stigmatise it and something like this comes along and it just reminds you we are basically still in the dark ages.
"We are still in the dark ages if some of the biggest companies in this country, Tesco, Asda and Amazon think that it's acceptable to sell something like this."
"It's unacceptable on every level," he added.
Elsewhere, Katie Dalton, of Welsh mental health charity Gofal, wrote on Twitter: "Dear @asda, how on earth did you come to the conclusion that this is an appropriate fancy dress costume? Disgraceful."
Former footballer Stan Collymore, who has had a well-documented battle with depression, also criticised Asda for using a "stereotype".
"Do you actually realise how many people are hanging themselves because of being frightened of the stigma?" he tweeted.
The charity Rethink Mental Illness also took to Twitter to say it was "stunned" by the costume's description, but later thanked Asda "for responding" to the "concerns".
'Terrifying Halloween option'
Sue Baker from Mind told BBC Radio 5 live that the worst thing about the costume was it reinforced outdated stigmas about people with mental health illness.
"Some of the worst myths that fuel this stigma is the assumption that we're going to be dangerous, knife-wielding maniacs and that is simply not the case."
She added: "The stigma can be life limiting and life threatening because people don't think they can talk to anybody and sadly for some people they take the option of not being with us anymore."
The internet link to the website page where the costume was being sold used the words "zombie fancy dress costume".
But the product was titled "mental patient fancy dress costume" on the page itself.
The product details read: "Everyone will be running away from you in fear in this mental patient fancy dress costume.... it's a terrifying Halloween option."
Ms Baker had called for retail giants Tesco and Amazon to withdraw from their websites a Halloween outfit of an orange boiler suit with "Psycho Ward" written across the front and back, along with a "committed" stamp below. It also has a plastic low jaw restraint.

Hi all,
Another old git seeking a bit of refuge from MAD
Nottingham lad, born Bilsthorpe, grew up in Bulwell Hall mainly with the odd dash of Southwell/Radford/West Bridgford/Edwalton/Meadows (Them bailiffs never could catch me old Mum).
Been supporting NCFC since a young lad (1959 was my first game!). Ex Army (22 years) and missed all the div 1 years bar a couple of games.
Followed the Pies via newspapers in Germany for 20 years. Came back to the UK and live in Chester. Stayed in the habit of supporting from a distanceΒ until the Munto thing gave me a kick up the backside (bandwagon?), anyway walking down the Lane for the first time in 30 odd years and whooooosh right back where I belonged. Thank heavens for Munto.
I get in about 15 - 18 games home and away depending on my work commitments and enjoy every one, well perhaps not enjoy every one but you know what I mean. Those I can't get to I spend listening to Uncle Colin and in whichever chatroom is being used. See some familiar names from other boards on here and looking forward to some good, constructive chat here.

Have money on this game so thought I'd listen via MP as I do from time to time with other teams, sounds like an utterly toxic atmosphere, but Coco and Gudjon are nowhere in sight!Β

Today was the last induction day for my new job, and sadly I didn't finish it till half 4. Weymouth were at home and the ground is barely 5 minutes away from the offices where I did the induction, so this afternoon killed me, not being able to go.
Β
Finally, I finished at half 4 and ran down to the ground. My mate had been texting me updates. We had dominated the first half but failed to score, and typically, the visitors - Bognor Regis Town had scored two quickfire goals midway through the second half. I didn't expect to see much but nevertheless I went in to watch the final 10 minutes.
Β
Upon entering the stadium, I heard the Bognor fans singing away to my right, while the Weymouth fans were voicing their frustrations. Many were heading for the exits.
Β
As I walked round the corner heading towars my spot behind the goal, I heard a cry of "go on!" - I looked up just to see the ball rolling into an unguarded net. Stewart Yetton had stolen it from Bognor's keeper and pulled us back into it.
Β
I had just got to my spot when the ball was when on the edge of the area. The ball broke for Ben Joyce to fire past a dispearing keeper into the bottom corner to equalise for Weymouth. Out of nothing, we had pulled it out of the fire.
Β
It ended 2-2, and we had sparred our blushes. We earned an FA Cup 2nd qualifying round replay with a side from two leagues below us. Sure, before the game a replay would have been a dissapointment but given the circumstances, it felt like a win!
Β
I saw ten minutes but saw the best part! Someone had to save the day I guess
Β
Have to say I didn't feel sorry for those who I saw leaving as I went in though. Just goes to show - stick by your team till the bitter end, never lose faith. You never know what might happen!

It may only be the FA Cup 2nd qualifying round but St Neots Town's Rene Steer came up with an early contender for goal of the season in their replay with Canvey Island on Tuesday night:

1-0 Bayern so far.
Hart with another clanger. Fantastic shot from Riberya - but Hart should be stopping that at his near post.
Speiss for England!

For me one of the matches of the day tomorrow will be Chesterfield v Mansfield.
Β
Giving their current league positions and in view of the fact that it is always a fiercly fought local derby it should be cracking match. I used to work in Chesterfield and the Spireites hate Mansfield with a passion.
Β
I will be routing for Mansfield as Nottinghamshire team and also because as a Notts fan I used to get quite a bit of stick from my Spireite colleagues when at work.
Β
So for one day only COME ON YOU STAGS!

Went to collect my grandson George's FREE season ticket today and bonus because the seat next to me just happens to be unused so he's got that one. I'm taking him on Saturday against Crewe to see how he likes it and hope he doesn't get bored, then we'll see how often he wants to come or how often I want to take him.
Β
If anyone has a season ticket and they have children or grandchildren under twelve they can get a FREE season ticket for them. I just had to take George's passport and birth certificate. I think it's a great offer by Notts and hopefully a lot of fans have taken up the offer, take a child to the match and they will probably be hooked for life.
