Looks like you can avoid the drop especially as your last home match is against away day strugglers Swindon Town.

But  ..... will your team be nervous, will your fans get on their backs or will you perhaps have an off day?

We have more than matched (just) your recent revival and still have (mathematically) something to play for.

Should be a lively encounter do you not think Joe?

Best wishes to all,

Mickeyr

Hayden Mullins open to permanent switch

<!--url{0}--> Hayden Mullins has not ruled out a permanent move to Notts County, even if they are relegated to League Two.

The 35-year-old utility player is on-loan at League One's 23rd-placed club from Birmingham for the rest of the term and out of contract this summer.

"I know the manager, so regardless of what league the club was in, I'm sure we could get something sorted out," Mullins told BBC Radio Nottingham.

"But at the moment, the focus is on trying to keep the club in League One."

Mullins, who has also played for West Ham and Portsmouth, as well as Reading on loan, played with Notts manager Shaun Derry at Crystal Palace.

The vastly-experienced former England Under-21 international has clocked up well over 600 senior appearances in all competitions.

Notts County are three points adrift of safety going into Saturday's home game against Port Vale with five matches of the season to go.

I'm not really fussed about him... He's been good cover, a little iffy at times but to be perfectly honest and blunt I hope we could attract better. No questions about his experience or ability, though he's a fading player.

What about you?

Everton LFC vs Notts County LFC

wlsmatchthreadfullelnc.png

Notts County Ladies make their first away trip of the season, as they travel to Merseyside to face Everton Ladies.

After two successive home games, which saw the Lady Pies progress to the quarter final of the FA Women’s Cup, and open their league campaign with a draw, County will be looking to gain their first three points of the season.

Everton Ladies are also looking for their first three points, with their first home game of the season, after both sides drew a blank when they visited Birmingham on Wednesday. Everton are also through to the quarter final of the FAW Cup, after a 3-1 victory at Cardiff in the 5th round.

On Bt sports. Should have kicjed off at 3pm, Grimsby team has only just turned up at 3.47. kick off now about 4.10. This is shocking and they should be fined. Everyone knows the roads are busy on a bank holiday.

It just goes from bad to worse for Florist
They've now been kicked out the league for attempting to get a 'top referee' to fix a result in their favour!!!

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have or had a slimline dishwasher? If so what make would you recommend as we are looking to get one and we naturally gravitate towards Hotpoint as we have a Hotpoint washing machine (our new one is getting delivered on Wednesday after our first one, an ultima super silent gave us 9 years good service without ever breaking down until Saturday night when it imploded!!), a Hotpoint fridge freezer & a Hotpoint tumble dryer.

Any answers / recommendations are as always greatly appreciated

Thanks

Andy

Notts County LFC vs Arsenal LFC

wlsmatchthreadfullncafc.png

Notts County will enter the game on a high, having emerged victorious from their first competitive game, progressing to the 6th round of the FA Women’s Cup, with a 2-1 victory over Coventry City Ladies.

Arsenal progressed through to the sixth round themselves, with victory over Gillingham. However the Gunners, unlike County, have also tasted defeat so far this season, Birmingham City coming out on top over two legs in the Champions League quarter final.

Dunia Susi will be helping to add to her two goals she netted against Coventry, whilst every other player will be keen to open their account for the Lady Pies, Jess Clarke and Ellen White having netted eleven goals between them in pre-season.

Welcome to our site @sidthekid.I hope you enjoy your time with us  and join in posting.

It should be an interesting season. I think Liverpool will win it again. 2 teams qualify for the Champions League. It's hard to say who will push Liverpool. Chelsea could be the new kinds on the block. They have a good team.

Bristol Academy Ladies vs Chelsea is the stand out game from the opening league games. An early test of Chelsea's title credentials. Bristol qualified for next year's CL so they will be a tough nut to crack.

Bristol City vs Notts County this Friday, will you be in attendance? How many travelling magpies do you think will make the trip? Notts have sold out their allocated tickets, yet we can still purchase on the day! What will the overall attendance be?

Dougie Freedman confident Josh Vela will benefit from loan spell at Notts County

2676964.jpg?type=articlePortrait

JOSH Vela went headlong into a relegation scrap with Notts County yesterday with a glowing recommendation from his manager at Wanderers.

Dougie Freedman has sent the combative young midfielder out to help his old Crystal Palace team-mate Shaun Derry, who is trying to lift the Magpies out of the bottom four in League One.

And the Scot has no doubt that it is an arrangement that can suit both parties perfectly.

“Whether they are at the bottom of the league or not isn’t my issue,” he said.

“I have to think of the club and this is a chance to get Josh playing some proper league football.

“He’ll be in the trenches, so let’s see what he’s made of.

“This decision is all about his development because if I was thinking of myself then I’d keep him around to sit in the stands, or on the bench, and try and get him games here or there.

“But where Josh is right now he needs to show he can handle games, so the best thing for our football club and for the lad himself is to get out there and see how he handles himself.”
