After 45 rounds and so many twists and turns it's a wonder it hasn't got its own Netflix series, this is it - the final round. We're all battling for positions, but we still have two players in contention for this season's star prize (once I've found it down my sofa) and an eternal place in the prediction league hall of fame. The League Two fixtures below kick off at the frankly crazy time of 11.30am on 8 May, with the Championship following at 2.00pm. So get your predictions in before then, and remember your jokers ;)

Full disclosure: the timing of this last round isn't great as I'm off to The Hague on holiday (no, I'm not being sent there for crimes to counting prediction league points). However, I will announce the winner on Monday at the very least, with the full results to follow ASAP.

I am going to try to do more homework ahead of games, see if I can regain my crown. ;)Β I'm also hoping we can attract a few more players. It's a fun thing to do, nothing serious at all. So, why not see where you finish?

Well done everyone!

My part in this was to complete the season for Grannypie and i'm kind of surprised how well my guessing went some weeks as i've not done it before, hence why i took on the role.

It won't be the same without her in it next season either.

Unfortunately, hens' teeth have proven unexpectedly difficult to come by, but I'm working on it. But not to fear @ARLukomski, there is a plentiful supply of hairy chips!

@cheeky~k8Β it definitely won't be the same, but you taking over her predictions was a lovely gesture and you're very welcome to compete in your own right next season. You seemed to hit your stride towards the end!Β

Well done everyone who took part.

I echo the sentiments regarding my missus @GrannyPie.I especially miss the laughs we had when she asked my advice and then completely ignored it.So thanks for continuing her memoryΒ Β @cheeky~k8

A big thank you to @DangerousSausageΒ for organising The Prediction League and also for his humourous comments,the silly sausage.

You'd all better watch out next season ,though, now that the EFL has lifted its embargo and relaxed its restrictions.

Now for a break, well after Saturday anyway.
