The teams got a funny name!

I hope we can still mount a challenge to stay up but if we don't let in 6 goals, that will be a bonus. I am really disappointed in our last result, this one must be better for us.

You should see some of the Non League teams, plus I could name a few overseas clubs which are amusing. Your face during the Millers game! It's a proper picture, @Dan really does have the best timing. LOL

Come on Notts!!

You could do us a massive favour by defeating the O's this weekend. The only way we (Millers) can get anywhere near the top two is for either Orient or Brentford to have a Tranmere style meltdown in the next half dozen games.

Orient are a very, very good side though

After you skinned us alive, you now want a favour? Okay, though it's only because we REALLY need to win of course. ;)

Keep going Millers!

I don't want my weekend ruining by another embarrassing defeat! It's time to start putting up a fight Notts and performing a miracle. We can win if we put in 100%. I don't want to be visiting League 2 grounds again. It's a very difficult league to get out of as proved last time we dropped down. It would help if we had decent officials for a change.

I'm sorry to disappoint you all but we are going to lose. How do I know this? Because I can't go and I have given my neighbour my season ticket, in every game I have done that we have lost so the writing is on the wall.

I'll get agent @magpiejue to take your neighbour out (not in the going out sense), she's an expert with dealing with these threats. Hey Julie? ;) The writing best not be on the wall... :D

Good articles here! I will have a read, I am still playing catchup myself.

I'm hopeful that tomorrow we might see a reaction, Derry can only try and the players must respond tomorrow.

I hope today is the day you regret not attending.

Well I'm right behind the goal, it's lively so far. Tyson had a early chance, 10 mins in and its still fairly open. COYP!

well, from the radio reports, we seemed to cope pretty well with them. Even better, the fact that the players gunning for full fitness now have game time under their belts.

Is a point too little too late?

Again the 442 questions are being asked? should we have thrown on more attackers in the last third of the match to go for broke, seeing as we need points or bust?

Tyson deserves a lot of credit, he never gave up on anything and shown great character by chasing everything. He had a couple of chance, I think he did very well to say service was limited but a much better performance over all for each player. It was good to see Liddle, Leacock and Dumbuya, I think these have settled back in. Dumbuya put in an acceptable peformance for me and Leacock did very well.

He seemed interested and eager to mark, a couple of mistakes here and there but overall good.

We need to play more like when did when we kept pushing for goals, glad their wasn't any protests. The players responded when the fans became vocal in support and I hope we do the same at our game against MK Dons.

I thought Tyson was great today, but would be more effective with a strike partner alongside him, but who makes way to accomadate this? Mcgreggor maybe!

McGregor seems to be the popular response, a couple of people mentioned this to me. Grealish is one of those players we need, I don't understand the stick he got today because he was passing. Fans near to where I sat, constantly onto him and I'm not saying they're wrong, I just don't get it. The lad tries and not everything will work out.

The Tyson cross which nearly allowed JCR to score was something. Is Tyson out of contract at the end of the season?

Posted

Not sure, but i dont think Tyson is happy at Blackpool and would jump at the chance to return to Nottingham, going on his interview with Col.

i think if the players believed earlier on we would have won no question, the ref was odd and their players dirty. nice to see notts battling! good point.

I didnt expect to see the three players start in Liddle, Leacock and Dumbuya. I thought I would only see the latter, they all put in a shift and what a result! We could have done with taking the chances but they played well.

Happy with how each player and the hard work they put in.

The low gate was concerning though!

Get used to the low gate, we will not get any more home fans for any home game this season, unless there is another offer, ie tenner on the gate or the Great Escape is on!!

Very good point. That's the sort of fighting spirit we need to show in every single game between now and the end of the season. I'm not going to get carried away, we've had too many false dawns this season. But it's a great response to last week. Let's take this forward into another difficult game on Tuesday night. If we can get a result on Tuesday, it sets up next Saturday's trip to Tranmere very nicely. That could become our biggest game of the season

Posted

Well not the result we hoped for it was not a win  but we took a point and when it comes to the end of the season that point may keep us up. Don't know bout you guys but i think it will help to build confidence and you never know it may start a good run (one we require) based on todays match and the performance can we beat the drop.

Posted

Useful point, just frustrating that we didn't go for all. 3 when we were on top in the last 20mins.

Balanced line up, solid display & a good platform to build on.

It was refreshing to see a proper back 4, 2 quality midfielders and a striker who can run!

Posted

Sounded like Notts have got last Saturday out of their system pretty quickly. Pies still have a chance if they can replicate todays fighting spirit in the games ahead, & if the worst DOES happen, it gives Derry a platform to build on for next seasons promotion campaign.

Posted

Well we came away with a point.... a draw is much better than a loss. I'd of loved to see a goal or two from us but it could of been much worse today. The team played better today so theres an improvement.. Lets hope it carrys on.

Posted

By the accounts given it sounds like we should have one. Frustrating to hear back and from the match report here, that perhaps we should have scored.

Dont be that down though, vast improvement.

Highlights are here. :)
