Last year they pretty much humiliated us and I hope we can repay that to them this year, I am surprised by how they have started. I really rate the way they play and although @sadlad told me awhile back they miss having Brandy and other strikers, I do think they have some decent options there.

That said I can see us scoring a few provided we play like we have been in recent weeks.

Harrad must be fancying his chances here, hopefully Noble can get something or put in another fine performance. It's going to be a cracking game, as Walsall are not a side to just sit back.

3-1 to Notts, I actually see them scoring first!

Thoughts?

Just to keep our winning run going I am again going to predict a 1-0 loss.

One of my memories of Walsall, was a game at the bescot..The Walsall forwards seemed to take great delight in wiping out Pilks at every opportunity...

at least that's how I remember it...

The run will continue 2-0 ;)

I don't think the Super Saddlers will win 5-1 this time. Maybe have to settle for a 1-0   Last season's scoreline was exceptional and other than a 3-1 win at Swindon we didn't score many on our travels. Other than his hat trick at Meadow Lane Brandy didn't do a lot and not really missed. Tom Bradshaw is the main main this term.It will be a close game this time that's for sure.

It'll be a close game, but they have lost their main source of goals from last season... I'm hoping we can edge it. 2-1.

This will be a stroll in the park I reckon. A comfortable 2-0 win.

I am afraid I might turn out to be unwelcomed but I see Walsall making us pay.

They have every chance of breaking our streak, it will go at some point. I do not want to rain on anyones parade but I feel it is coming Saturday. Shaun will demand a response and we will get back on with it after.

I hope you are shaving that tash off after you are proven to be wrong. Remember it is movember! ;)

Notts will narrowly win, it will be by 1 goal and walsall will score.

Opinions on here do differ, we hold no grudges! Also, it's been awhile since we've had a parade. ;)

I think the game wont see a lot of goals, provided both teams are capable of scoring but i would not be concerned so much by walsall. I dont mean to appear cocky but they are still showing signs of adjusting, if we keep bradshaw quiet. walsall will be aswell, all our focus must be on defending properly. If we pass the ball like we have been, i see the walsall defence struggling.

Good keepers at both end will make the difference.

2-1 notts win. Up the Pies!

We'd better win. It's my birthday on Saturday. Go home tomorrow, unpack etc... then the match on Saturday. 2-0 Notts.

@allerdyces tash I hope you are wrong, but it is going to happen at some point, my hope is, that it comes against Donny in the tin pot trophy. And don't worry about having a differing opinion, it's what gives us plenty to talk about, instead of sitting here nodding at the screen.

@hissingdwarf Don't forget to give us the weather report for the game so folk know if it is shirtsleeves or raincoat...

@tonyhateley Will you be serenading @erindoors from the centre circle lol the lads could run out to you warbling away

still confident, i think we are a lot stronger and walsall seem weaker than normal.

if we play like we have, i see no problem winning.

I'm being over confident of course. I believe we will trounce them 4 or 5 - 0. Time for revenge

They have no strike force, their defence is a little shaky, and low on confidence.

I'm sure they will be safe from relegation, but not tomorrow.

I at least hope for a win.

It is a difficult game to call, i agree with those who say it will be close. I just wish for it to be in our favour, a win on saturday could make a word of difference and really at home we should be winning games no matter who the opposition.

Folks - The Match Officials feature is back.

I've reformatted it, the interesting facts wasn't always useful all the time and the stats sometimes took ages to sort. Whilst some sites wasn't very reliable with the information about how many games they had officiated.

The new format provides all the useful information, removes the clutter and I do think it's better overall now.

Please do give it a read by clicking above, I would appreciate your thoughts as always.

Usually I would say Walsall would take the game to us.

I dont quite think they have enough to rock us this time around and under derry we will be much closer. This is one of them games where the first goal is vital and the response from the side which does go down will have to show character. I can see the game ending numerous ways, I see it ending 2-2.

Late goal from Walsall to help them steal a point against a very good performing magpie side.

Need a win today so that I can give one of my clients a bit of stick!

It should be a good day out with the weather forecast as it is whatever the score.
