We've shared some nice milestones together as a set of fans, This includes our first 1k of posts, the first member of the month (also the one's which follow) each members who break a milestone in their own post count. The first time one of our articles reached 10 facebook likes, first 100 likes on our facebook page and many more which I may not of mentioned. Each one is very important to a growing community, I have to admit I do get easily excited about these things but it's for good reasons.

Today, we reached one I am very, Very PROUD about.

Pride of Nottingham now ranks no.1 on google if you was to search 'Pride of Nottingham' using the search engine. This for myself, well I'm delighted. I stupidly ran down stairs, called my parents and scooped poor Jake and Ava up and started singing 'We're number one'. Stupid for the reason it's a tad bit of weight for my knee! LOL

I'm also happy for the reason when Tony first appeared and then briefly disappeared, he came back mentioning searching for us and this has always stuck with me. I'm happy to say if any of our dear friends searched, you shouldn't be scared by what you find at no. 1!!

Thank you very much! GREAT COMMUNITY EFFORT.
Joe

I noticed your tweet Joe, very humble and credit to you aswell. Thank you for providing us fans somewhere else to show our interest for the club, this is a fan site that will one day be known just as much as any.

Congratulations to those who have also been more involved.

I still remember when you used Wordpress! The best thing you did was move from it, that said you are missed mate. It's not the same seeing Kerrang! as offline when I visit the old forum package you used. Glad to see Pride of Nottingham doing well!

You should be very proud, I'm so glad I searched that day to find you again and I'm glad you've knocked that other pretenders site off the top spot.

Well done, Joe, well done everyone, we can now officially say WE ARE THE PRIDE OF NOTTINGHAM.

As Ken Goodwin(who's he I hear the younger ones amongst us say-comedian from the 70's)used to say-Settle down there, settle down. When Joe rang with his news I thought he'd won the lottery he was so pleased.Joe sometimes gets a little disheartened by lack of response on this site. l do my best to encourage him, telling him his efforts(and other contributors efforts)will be rewarded.Well Joe, I'm really ,really pleased to be able to say 'I TOLD YOU SO.'Well done all, please keep it up.

I know this, you ask anybody if they never have odd days! It shows that  i will put a lot of effort in, as if I just accepted that things would stay the same surely that would question my passion or motivation. I really do want to deliver somewhere people are proud and want to spend time, I feel honoured that people do now. I think someone spending 5 minutes a day in our presence is amazing! I can't say how I feel when I see people like Tony on for the amount of time he does, it's just special.

Keep telling me so, it'll help me to focus on delivering.

I notice as a community we contributed enough to change the message underneath the white message. Notts Joe is 8 away from 600 posts! The community have nearly reached 2700, almost 100 members (some are bound to join in with us) and almost 50 online at one time. Joe, this includes none members right? You should be very proud lad.

I am proud upthepies :)

Yes, the 'Most Online' includes guests but I would prefer it to show members online. During our contest we had a fair few online together, it's a special memory I have and I can't wait to experience something like that again. Things which might the community click and come together! I hope next season we can all do a prediction of the leagues, would be great fun.

It's coming along nicely!

Yesterday I was playing around on google, I couldn't find that pretending fan site 'Pride of Nottingham' and it seems they've closed the doors. Quite saddening I am sure for them but for myself, well I'm glad we're no.1 and the only PRIDE of our city. :D

No stumbling onto it for any of our fans who google our name.

They obviously couldn't cope with the competition.

I have enjoyed meeting you all on this site.

It's difficult to post regularly given the relationship of our two clubs but I visit the site most days.

My wife's cousin is a Rams fan and I know that he will not mention "them up the road". I don't suppose you do either.

Strange though that Brian Clough managed the two teams yet seems (from here) to be revered by both.

Keep it up Joe: treat each apparent set back as just a modification to your plan

Brian Clough transformed The Rams from an ordinary second tier side that seemed content to just 'tread water', into The Champions of England. He also took them to the semi finals of the European cup.

He then took over 'that lot' who were similarly going nowhere, made them champions of England, winners of the league cup on several occasions and won the European Cup twice.

This added to the already fierce rivalry between our two clubs(Mr.Clough's son, Nigel, also played for 'that lot' and is now our manager,)

By the way ,Medievalmickey, the A52 road which connects Derby and Nottingham Is called Brian Clough Way and when our two teams meet in the league the winner claims The Brian Clough Trophy. I'm pleased to say it's in Our hands at the moment.

I think that may help explain why Brian Clough means so much to both sets of supporters, :super::thumbsup:

Nice too ,to hear from you again,Mickey. Will we (The Rams) be playing you next season?

Good things come out of set backs, just as much as they do out of improvements.. its just seeing them through the things you don't like.

That's very profound K8.We're getting very  philosophical aren't we.

Lol There is good things that come from set backs, we all tend to concentrate on the bad things when it happens though. Some of us more than others.

Either that or for once, you make, sense?:lol:

Should not think we will play you next year Super_Ram because our form is now imploding. Away at MK Dons tonight could prove pivotal.

@medievalmickey Please, please, please SWINDON beat the fake Dons!! I don't really mind who wins the play-offs now but I prefer it be one of the respective teams I've gotten to know some fans. That would include Swindon, Walsall and Yeovil.

I just hope Sheffield United fall outside of the play-offs, I like the games against them. Plus, I don't like them despite having fans who support the club.
