Two names being mentioned by the Red Rag as possible Notts Targets.

I'm not 100% sold on Burke, but I guess it depends on wage demands.

Of course I don't know much of Valencic, so will be interested if this one comes off

In the little I've seen of Burke, he's looked lively. I think he's a player who will grow and improve given time and is worth a shot.

I've no idea about Valencic. I don't know how strong the Slovenian league is, but he isn't exactly a goal machine. He's probably been used more as an attacking midfielder.

Mr Trew has dismissed Burke already, he said they had offered him a good deal and contract but that Burke was in talks with Championship teams. He won't be signing for us.

No idea about the other player at all.

Burke is a good player, very promising but he was very quiet playing for us and I didn't see signs as to why we should sign him. That said, I would take him on for his potential and as a backup player, however with him chasing higher dreams I think it signals that even if that didn't pan out - It would be a waste of our time signing him because we require players who see us as 'that club' where they 'want' to be.

We aren't just building for League Two but onwards also.

Looking at a few clips on you tube of Filip Valencic looks like a promising player but you can't read to much into that.

As for Burke If Mr Trew has ruled out the signing of him but would not complain if we did take him.

I still want to know if we are in for this Championship striker, it does not look very promising when the post are linking us with additional two forwards.

Valencic has just signed, very happy with the number of attacking options we are going to have next season, will surely take the pressure of players when goals/service are coming from across the front line.

I don't think we need one. Our attacking options are plenty:

3 strikers/wingers:

Stead

Spencer

Murray (When fit)

Jenner

Snijders

Valencic

Da Silva

Campbell

Hayhurst (Possibly leaving)

Adams (Possibly leaving)

Daniels (Possibly leaving)

There is a lot of competition for what is essentially 3 places in our line-up.

Don't like this one. He looks like one of those people who stand in front of the mirror in pub toilets, carefully adjusting their hair.

So with Graham Burke & Filip Valencic signed I would say that's another good day in the transfer market.

Just watched Burke's MP interview. He doesn't sound like the sharpest knife in the draw

I hadn't watched it until you put that up. Made me laugh as I was just listening to hear him umm struggle slightly. :)

Burke was 5 mins away from saving us, in his last 2 games for notts he shone! 2 assists and a goal, and you know why? Because he had a chance to settle, playing regular football games for us

Hopefully Burke can contribute, he seems a decent player who can only get better. The other lad is an unknown to me, yet that video shared above makes him look a good addition.

It is good to see Graham Burke return, towards the end of last season he put in several good performances and the lad almost kept us up. I think he can go far with us but I do not know about the Slovenian player.

He reminds of Ronaldo, without the ability.

I'm pleased with both, obviously we have to give them time and chances but even in the reserves I think Moniz will know how to get them ready for the first team. If they are for the first team, I have faith they will fight for selection.
