one of our earliest shirts was in fact orange, i am wondering if @Joe Jones may be right about the dutch influence and if in fact we may be going down this path.

what year did we have a complete orange away shirt? not the one fans call the bumblebee shirt.

thoughts?

@liampie - Notts had an orange away shirt back in 00-01, it was actually pretty nice.

This seasons may very well be orange, I suspect 'blue' myself - I have no reason as such to suggest this but I just feel that we may see the return of that. I wouldn't be against an orange shirt though! @GrannyPie knows I love the colour. :P

A field where dreams become reality.

Orange? I seem to recall all the ones I did not like.

I do believe we have had a few, I would hope for yellow or blue myself but orange is a colour that we do look okay wearing.

After the delay in the shirts, if the club released images before hand it would help with sales.

Did anyone notice how the training tops have gone up on sale? Yet it does not include the price at all? That is pretty bad marketing IMO.

no, i recall a full orange. thats not the shirt i remember but i could be wrong.

@Canadian i am unsure what year it was.

Are you thinking of this one?

That's the away shirt from the season after the original Great Escape under Billy Dearden, when we spent the whole season under administration. Chances are not many were actually made or sold, the club shop was almost completely bare back then. It looked more like a deep yellow in the flesh though.

I would not mind something like this or slight different but still orange.

Oh oh oh ohhhhh, everywhere where we go, watching super County putting on a show!

Am I right in thinking we had a sky blue kit with a dark blue band down the arms and on the shorts with the Admiral logo in it? Home Ales sponsored. I'm sure I have a photo somewhere of Chris Whithe giving Adey Thorpe a bit of a bollocking in that kit.

All kits are picked around September each year for the next season.  At that time there was no Dutch influence so its not going to be Orange i am afraid.  All will be revealed in the next 2 weeks

Provided its pink or red, I do not care.

When people ask what 'American Pie' is about, they're missing the point. The song isn't about the lines themselves - it's about what is between the lines. The song is about what isn't there.
