That miss by Dennis

I haven’t seen anyone mention the miss by Kristian Dennis against Colchester, Enzio put a great cross in which flashed across the goal, Dennis connected about 5/6 yards out but only managed to put it over the bar, it was fairly late in the game and it would probably have been the winner. Did I see it right? Do you think it will affect his confidence?

Spelling Kristian wrong

Strikers have to put misses behind them, it's in the past and they should be fully focused.

Stead has missed heaps of clear chances, but always seems to score those goals you wouldn't have thought he would. Alessandra never looks like scoring, but manages to lift himself enough to be productive on the field. I don't think Dennis will be worried about missing a chance, you know what they say, it shows he's doing something right. His time will come.

Kristian Dennis will dust himself off and go again, if he's not quite fit or is still carrying a knock it might explain the miss. Strikers just need to be where the ball ends up, he looks a capable player and I don't think one miss will bother him.

At least I do hope it don't.

I don't think he will be worried about the miss, he landed awkwardly and didn't make much connection with the ball. I'm surprised he's not worried about getting injured again rather than missing a chance.

Strikers to thrive on what chances come there way, he may be frustrated by it but I suspect he will be ready to go again.

I don't think he actually caught much contact with the ball due to the bounce, it just went straight up into the air. PON's gaffer @ChrisΒ said he captured the miss in a photo. I would be curious to see it.

Yeah, I have a picture of the ball upwards with Dennis on the ground. I'm not going to publicly share it at this stage Lewis.
