Good morning PoN, another day dawns and we’re all still here, the sky hasn’t fallen in despite the result yesterday.

It’s a nice bright start here, food shopping is on the agenda for us, remember the old days when shops were shut on Sunday? How did we cope? Lidl is our favourite shop we’ve saved a fortune since we started going there.

This afternoon if it stays dry I’m going to bbq some pork steaks with a couple of sausages and have them with salad for our dinner, can I call it dinner or is it tea at 5-6pm?

Anyway hope you all have a great day, keep the posts coming let us know what you’re up to.

No plans today, I will probably just keep an eye on PON and watch TV for awhile.

If anything else crops up that would make my day different, it would be a good thing. Going to search for Notts videos now, @ARLukomski did you go yesterday?

Just woke up after being on nights last night. Doing a bit of baking I think as I await the arrival of my family home after competing in this years Great North Run.

Woke up had some lunch nipping out to pick up some new pans and pick some pipes up etc for the news cooker to be installed. A bit of Pon posting maybe Fifa.

I am catching up with all the weeks recorded programmes I have to watch.

Other than that I make things up as I go along.

We’ve been for a walk and on the way back someone had put some garden chairs out with a notice saying “free help yourself” so we did, they were in good nick as well, just what we needed because I took ours to the tip only last week as they had badly corroded.

Just got back from taking the kids to the park and a quick something to eat at a nearby KFC.

It's actually nicer than it looks outside.

The weather wasn't an issue, although as we got nearly back it started to slowly rain. The wind was nice too, it kept me the right temperature and one point I thought there wasn't much point in me having my coat (I'm hot half of the time anyway - I once beat a snowman in shorts and a t-shirt). 😆

I'm feeling a bit iffy at the moment, this is what it's generally like when I've had a fairly busy week (for me at least). I get very drained and start feeling unwell.

Onto my to-do-list shortly.

Well I managed to bbq my pork steaks and sausages although at one stage I had to grab the sun parasol to keep dry but hey I’ve bbq’d in worse weather, I’ve got a video somewhere of me doing a bbq in an absolute monsoon in Spain.
